This must be the most exotic place on the web!
I'm a student in philology-linguistics, as well as mythology, at a research university in the Washington, D.C. area.
I'd like to meet some t-girls, first here at your forum, and maybe then in person.
Three months ago I thought I was moving overseas to continue my studies, first to Uppsala Universitet in Sweden, where I was accepted, and then on to Ireland for the second half of that degree (Old Irish philology), and the following scholarly life.
But poor me, I got caught in the backup at the Passport Agency, and found out a week before the start of the semester that I couldn't go. The Swedish Migrationsverket, speaking through the Embassy in Washington, refused to expedite my visa.
The setback will be two years, as things were structured. I'm now stuck here, waiting, taking a few easy courses in the meantime.
Should I party? I wasn't so bad at it as a kid, and I still look pretty cute.
