"...As a result of breaking her heart, Megan hung herself..."

Is the poor grammer a sign that this report is a hoax?

Its so easy for parents to blame "myspace" for their failed parenting. Cmon, what kid never got his/her heart broken? or had a prank played on them? Kids are cruel to eachother. We deal with it and move on to adulthood. For the parents to blame a website for their own failures is pathetic. Shame on them.

I have seen this story elsewhere.

1- The kid was already medicated for mental problems, the parents were trying to help her out.
2- The "guy" she fell for was the MOTHER of a girl she used to be friends with. These weren't two kids bulling each other, this was the result of calculated moves on the part of an ADULT.
3- No one is blaming myspace, but rather the adult who was involved.

In my opinion:

The parents of the young girl is blaming the other adult & myspace (not so much Myspace only because they can't legally). But who's really at fault, I think the parents. What child hangs themselves because some person they never met doesn't want to speak to them anymore. How can you blame anyone but the child & the parents. She had to be mentally unstable. They weren't watching her closely enough & she did something horrible to herself. Basically she hung herself over a person she never even met (doesn't matter if the person didn't really exist).
