3 straight weeks of torrential downpours here in southern Thailand with a bigger storm on its way.
Went to the airport today and saw folks riding jetskis down the middle of the street....true story!

Anyways over 300 pissed off tourists sleeping on my little islands airport floor since 11 am yesterday,and still cannot get out...so Im surely going nowhere....guess no naked ladyboys for me tomorrow.

I believe you! I grew up in that part of the globe. When asean countries gets typhoons it's a big deal because it rains and rains for days and the wind speed/gust of 100 plus mph is something to be scary about not to mention land/mud slides and flush floods covers major cities.

Yeah im safe...

Im up on a hill overlooking the sea,so floods arent gonna reach me from the bottom and we had worse rains 2 years ago and no flooding from the hillside...so im not too worried.but youre right...when it rains here it friggin comes down in biblical proportions.
