most definitely not:

this place has been so peaceful lately, it wouldnt make much sense

(but, just like fightclub, its rather a sausage-fest) :))

This has actually been one of the longest periods of relative peace on the forum in years. One of the newbies will probably start shooting from the grassy knoll any minute now, though.

#1 - The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club.

#2 - The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club.

#3 - If someone says stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.

#4 - Two guys to a fight.

#5 - One fight at a time.

#6 - No shirts, no shoes.

#7 - Fights will go on as long as they have to.

#8 - If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.

This has actually been one of the longest periods of relative peace on the forum in years.

No shit. This place used to be internet's version of Tombstone, Arizona. You never knew who was going to get into it next. At times, the battles literally involved almost every notable personality on the forum and lasted for weeks. So far as fighting is concerned, the forum definitely runs in cycles and has been in a comparatively pacifistic phase for some time now.

-Quinn
