Yeah for a couple of years he was the best, & then he just pissed it away in a haze of booze & dope that ultimately killed him.

What's makes him relevant for this board was he was a regular crossdresser when he wasn't on the road.

From what I understand he liked to get dressed up,go to the English equivalent of a redneck bars and duke it out w/ the locals.

Yea as drummers go Neil Pert, John Bonnam, Keith Moon, and I have a soft spot for stewart Copeland too.

recent drummers - I really like the guy from Interpol, Sam Fogarino
he has a strong Jazz infuence and keeps it splashy on the High hat
