Craigslist is the website many of us know so well. I don't know how bad it is elsewhere but here in NYC it is sometimes a warzone as far as ads are concerned.

I've gotten calls from chicks on the other end giggling while their friend is posting a fucked up ad about a chick they don't like on a laptop. Using a neighbors wireless connection at that.

It mystifies me that any intelligent human being would either browse, or worse, list on CL. The few times I've looked at it (Not just for escorts, but for many other items of interest) I was confused or put off by what I found listed there.

This sort of scam bullshit is one of the reasons (Beyond my own quirks) that I tend to get into a correspondence (Via email/IM/PM). It can piss the gurls off, but at least I know that I am pissing off someone that I am actually going to meet.

It's too bad so many t-girls act like men in competition with each other. Maybe if more TS escorts were actually taking hormones and testosterone blockers they would act more like ladies and less like thugs.

All the hate and flagging BS does nothing but cause the "straights" to get homophobic and flag ALL the ads like they are doing in the Inland Empire in SoCal.

The girls are too ghetto and ignorant to understand they are killing the cow that fed us all.

I started out on CL, I made a lot of money on it. It used to be a great venue. I have't posted there in a year.

I wish CL would charge $5 an ad, only allow one ad per day per IP address and stop the flagging. That would knock out 99% of the spam, and 90% of the scammers and crackhead escorts that cause us all problems. And those left would make money again.

However I disagree that posting a lot means no business. In most major cities it scrolls and flags so fast you have to top post to stay current.

I know all kinds of tricks for Cl - I used to upload 50 ads at once to their server then activate them at will, even from my phone browser. So it was no problem to post new ads in between dates. Now with the iphone it's really easy.
