How many "Str8" guys have had HIV testing ?

This is an honest question.. I know that guys who are attracted to TG woman consider themselves str8 (as do I). I have been with many , many TG girls over the past 7 years and was never tested until last week. The testing is easy but the waiting almost 48 hours was brutal even though I have always been a top and NEVER once a bottom and always practiced safe sex (with the exception of oral) ..I was thinking about all the experiences and the 2 "broken condoms' incidents...Thankfully I was negative...I`m am even more committed to being safe and glad I FINALLY had the test...I wanted to do for a long time but was afraid...How many "admirers" ( I hate that term LOL) have been tested ?

For people who are strictly tops the chances of getting infected are greatly reduced.
People who are bottom are at most risk.
Most people are afraid to get tested cause they think it will be the end of the world if they test positive.

Yeah been there. I posted a few weeks ago about my condom breaking while topping a girl. Got tested, but tested on a Wed. or Thur. and had to wait the whole weekend to get my results, talk about stressful. Got my results on that following Monday, I passed with an A+. Greatly reduced risk of exposure. The anus is extremely sensitive (1000s of nerve endings, which is why it feels so good to be bottom if you get into it), but it's also extremely delicate and can tear easily. Not necessarily large tears--maybe Susanna Holmes could inflict that kind of damage--but small, even microscopic lesions which can then expose blood to potential contact with semen. Since HIV is transmitted by contact with certain bodily fluids (including of course blood and semen), the bottom is at greater risk since a) the area is being irritated and b) the top may unload his/her semen inside you. That's why it should go without saying that you should always practice safe sex: no glove, no love. But more, you should use lots and lots of water-based lube (oil-based lube will damage laytex condoms).

The top is less at risk because a) you're not going to cum out your ass (unless someone has already planted a load there--in which case you're living such a high risk lifestyle that you probably already have HIV) and b) the top is protected by the condom from contact with your blood, which given the microscopic tears that can happen is apt to be an extremely small chance. If the top is not wearing a glove, she is still much less likely to contract HIV from the encounter than the bottom is (assuming in the first case she's infected and the bottom isn't, and in the second that the bottom is infected and she isn't).

Grimey, you have to get tested again in a few months because it can take time for the antibodies to appear in your system. Getting tested the next day after a condom break is totally pointless. If you (or anyone) is having sex with various partners it makes sense to get tested EVERY 3 months or so. Ignorance is bliss until you start with the karposi's sarcoma.

The PCR-DNA that is used in porn, but readily available nationwide, tests for the anti-bodies and will detect it within weeks. If you are getting tested due to a risky encounter, this is the test you should be requesting by name.
