The Greatest Story Never Told

I just realized something. I can only think of one TS video I've ever seen that had a consistent storyline running through the whole thing. Maybe I'm just watching the wrong videos. . .

The movie I'm talking about was "Scream", it was a Meghan Chevalier vid from a few years back. The plot itself was kinda disturbing, a take on the movie "Scream" of course, but it's still the only one I've seen like that.

The industry seems to stick to gonzo or short, stand alone scenes, at least as far as I can tell.

Just found this kinda odd.

Anybody else wish there were more story driven vids?

Not me. I'm the opposite. I prefer the "GONZO" video. My main reason is videos with story lines tend to have about four scenes. My interest in a video is usually because of one particular girl. The format usually allows about fifteen minutes per scene. I prefer a video in which I can see my favorite multiple times if I'm lucky. Just my preference. By the way, I didn't buy PLABOY to read the articles either...LOL :)

That really demonstrates two of many schools of thought here. Personally, the times I've bought Playboy it actually Was for the articles. I've got one old copy of Playboy still laying around, and it features:

Interview with Quentin Tarantino
Article on Ron Jeremy
Article on the "Weird World Of Walmart"
20 questions with Bill Murray
And Daryl Hannah as the centerfold

I find all that interesting.

On the other hand, just getting off is probably best achieved by pure sex content. I do think, though, that some storylines would be nice. I like having my imagination aroused just as much as anything else.

Not that they constituted great drama, but I remember several TS movies from the 80s and early 90s with actual characters and storylines. One featured a TS real estate agent selling a hip dwelling maybe in California or Colorado, and a sequence of prospective buyers who got it on while checking out the property. Her secret wasn't outed till the last scene, where she gets it on with a guy. It was called--anyone remember?--Transaction.

Personally I can do without the stories, which is why I like stuff like early Ed Powers, Asian Street Hookers, etc.

yesssss sseanchai.....was he a pioneer or what....and what a hero.....kind of stubby, fked with his socks on....i loved his conversation with the girls...the before and after....he was in a class by himself.....john ford, dw griffith....yea.. and while we on pioneers.....how bout john stagleono....and his adventures of buttman......who is in some of those ...none other than talent-turned-producer, Joey Silvera.....yea...the golden age.......the parade has gone past....

All due respect to the pioneers, but I'm thinking the real "golden age" is just getting started.
