Quentin Tarantino has turned down the opportunity to direct an episode of hit TV show Heroes - because he's never watched the series.

QT told The Sun that "They were trying to get me to do one. I haven't even seen the f***ing show. What the f*** is Heroes?"

Tarantino has previously dabbled several times in network television in recent years, directing high profile episodes of "ER" & "CSI" and guest starring in three episodes of J.J. Abrams spy thriller "Alias".

I applaud him for not not even watching that overrated mainstream piece of ****.I'll never will understand why that show is so popular, the basis of the show is so generic lets give a group of people super powers so they can save the world wow i never heard of such a plot before *cough*x-men,i guess with alot of hype and advertisement you can make even the shittest of shows seem appealing.

C'mon now... it's the intrigue that has fans wrapped up in the show. It's not the basic underlying subject, it's the storyline and the anticipation of what may happen next; just like it is with any other drama that has a following.

Have you put a show on the air that's had the success of Heroes? Has Tarantino? No. It takes a lot of ingenuity to make something like Heroes work, and the people behind the show obviously have what it takes, otherwise it wouldn't be back for a second season. If Tarantino doesn't think it's worth his time, fine. That says to me that he doesn't have what it takes. It's not a reflection on the show, it's a reflection on him.

Of course, if the show completely bombs this season (and you never know, it could), he'll probably be laughing it up.
