When Amy Winehouse had a bust-up with husband Blake Fielder-Civil in their £500-a-night suite at London's Sanderson hotel two weeks ago, things got a bit messy.

The pair ended up bloody – and so did their luxurious accommodation.

Amy, 23, has had to settle a bill for almost £9,000 to cover the bar bill and cost of the clean-up.

The troubled singer admits Blake found her in their room cutting herself and 'about to do drugs with a call girl'.

'He is an amazing man who saved my life again and he got cut badly for his troubles,' she explained.

Expert cleaners were needed to clean the blood off the bedroom and bathroom walls before the decorators could get to work.

Then there was the matter of a damaged curtains and linen, a scratched door and a smashed table.

'The in-house cleaners were totally shocked when they entered the room,' a source told the Sunday Mirror

Why the hell do people like Amy Winehouse? Here music really isn't that great anyway but it looks like she is going on a downward spiral if she doesn't get help with the drugs and the cutting problem she is going to need more then rehab.

What does her problems have to do with why people like her music? And do you mean "more rehab" or "more than rehab?" Because you know that going to rehab would be getting help with the drugs and cutting problem, right?

Absolutely nothing. That was a lame attempt at her rehab song in which she states she doesn't need it.You'd think that i person with so many problems would ran to a rehad center ASAP.

I'm not sure what you mean by "a lame attempt at her rehab song," do you mean she has a song in which she says she doesn't need rehab? Sadly, rehab only really becomes effective when the person actually desires to change, which usually only happens after they hit rockbottom. That clearly hasn't happened for her yet.

She's not a TG, you apparently don't care for her music, and she's one of many musicians/actors with substance abuse problems. Yes, if she does not seek help, she could be in trouble. The above (bfore and after) pics of her are all over the net. Her problems are not a secret to anyone who googles her name or looks her up on Wikipedia. her issues are not "new" news.

Just wondering, what is your point?

I don't like her music but i never want to see a person go on a path like that,my point is don't make songs about not going to rehab when the whole world clearly sees you need it.

Rehab, by Amy Winehouse...that's a statement filled with irony, just like that picture of Whitney Houston holding that sign that says to say no to drugs.

Amy does have the pipes to go have a long career, but if she doesn't curb her addiction soon, she won't be around as long as her fans would like.

I like her song "Stronger Than Me" from her first album as well. She's looking pretty hot in this video; hopefully she can return to this form.

I think she sounds similiar to Lauren Hill. Amy is definitely one of the better contemporary singers within the R&B/Pop genre. I like her song "You Know I’m No Good" more than "Rehab."

I like her voice, and feel that she has a great vocal range. I also
admire her ability and willingness to cut across genres. I love her
jazz stylings and her pop work equally.

But Amy take it from two addicts, me and Courtney, get help, now.

Cutting? Seriously? Does it get any more retarded than that?

I mean, you want to talk about doing moronic shit to yourself, and that's right up there with auto-erotic-asphyxiation.

I would do heroin with Amy Winehouse anytime. She is a beautiful, talented, soulful artist. I love her song "Rehab".

Traditional rehab is bullshit for many who are not willing to turn their lives over to Jesus or a "higher power" or whatever. For people who actually believe that they are responsible for their own lives and their own behavior, and are willing to take the pleasure and the consequences.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Cutting is a total psychological thing where someone can actually relieve pschological pain by inflicting physical pain. Unless you have been in that place or that situation i would stick to things you know more about. /facepalm

I dont know what she does in her personal life but that "read" trouble for sure! I do like her tho. She reminds me of Gina Gershon and Siouxsie and the Banshees. She's such a character (Love her style) and does have an amazing sultry voice.

Most rehab clinics, aside from offering drugs that mask the withdrawal symptoms of heroin(see withdrawal scenes in Trainspotting and Ray for examples), which you can get outside of rehab, mostly try to pump you full of religious bullshit and let you know that jesus loves you. Which is all well and good, but rehab isn't going to make anyone change that doesn't want to change, and probably turns off a lot of nonreligious people, especially nonchristians. Most rehab clinics are lucky to have 1 in 50 people stay clean. Secondly, there are many addicts who are successful people and have been hooked for life. They just happen to have enough money to afford the addiction and therefore don't have to resort to breaking the law to get money/drugs. And don't experience the drastic ups and downs of going into and coming out of withdrawal because they have access to a steady supply. Amy's source of angst/depression is most likely not heroin, but something else, and she's using the heroin to cope with it. Kind of like a prescription anti-depressant, except that this one is highly addictive since it has a very powerful immediate effect, rather than a suddle delayed effect after many days of use.

I like Amy Winehouse and her music. At least she is fairly original and not afraid to sing about something as taboo as addiction. Unlike all your other pop crap that's only about love(losing it, gaining it, etc...) and is completely predictable and awful. Addicts make good artists because their hearts and minds know the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows.

I took a look at this video from a few years ago (pre-ink): http://youtube.com/watch?v=dec9pQUnmCc and I thought about a GG freind of mine who has all this ink which I love and she doesn't. She told me she didn't really want tattoos, she liked getting them (she's a pro-sub, so.....). Made me think about Amy, the tats and the cutting.
