I'm kinda bored and just though I would post an off the wall topic.


Would anyone be intrested in expressing what their hobbies are?


For Me...... I love Trains & Beauty.....


If i'm not wasting a hundred hours or more playing Microsoft Train Simulator....I am learning the art of beauty.

I have 2 degrees.....one in Fashion Design & Merchandising....and the other in Cosmotology & Esthetics. If it makes ya look good...or You can toot its horn.......Then I can prolly tell you about it!.....lol

My hobbies are railfaining and model railroading. I enjoy photography and reading also. I think I am in love with Topheavycutie now. I also like lego, construction equipment, and muzzle loaders.

I brew beer and am certified to judge beer at contests.

The latter sounds a lot more fun than it is. People enter some funky beer in homebrewing contests.

I've got a friend who is a trainspotter. As I grew up near the tracks I don't quite get it,but it's kind of cool to see an engine from some small or distant railroad in the local yards.

I do miss cabooses. When I was kid hopping slow freights was our way of getting around. if you could nab a caboose w/o a brakeman on board you were riding in high style.

Actually I like to fix cars - except not my own. I also have the last Ford F-100 pickup truck produced. A 1980 custom build (the F-100 line was ended in 1979, this was a hold over) that's restored to original, except the engine is chromed out!

I've been working for awhile now on making the perfect chili. To a certain extent I've gotten fairly tired of eating chili at this point, but still I try. Here's todays base recipe (portions left out to protect my secret weapon):

Poblano chile
Serrano chile
Habanero chile
Red bell pepper
Orange bell pepper
Garlic
Green onion
Diced roasted tomato
Kosher salt
Black pepper
Oregano
(No beans or pasta, Real Chili does not have beans or pasta!)

Since this is a Con Queso nacho dip I'm making, here's the cheese for the second stage-

Extra sharp Tillamook cheddar
Chichuahua cheese
Iberico cheese
Heavy cream

I also play PC video games on occasion.

I have a small shop, build a few stock cars a year. Not an official chassis shop, but maybe someday...so racing is my hobby,keeps my sanity.

I have alot of hobbies which are good for describing in large blocks of text that no one wants to read. I'm passionate about all of them.

I love photography, but I think that was probably obvious. I have a collection of vintage Macs, and I am really into disassembling, restoring, and making use of new and old audio and computing systems. Tubes are way cool. Circuit bending is awesome.
I like to clean things until they look new and maintain them like they are the last of their kind.
I like geology, gemology, and lapidary. I have been obsessed with it for most of my life thanks to my grandparents.
Building things is rad. Building anything. I don't really care what it is. Custom, professional-looking things are the best though. I can build anything because I am awesome.
I loves nature. I lived in the nation's largest state park for the first 18 years of my life and I love the trees. Cities make me paranoid.
Urban exploration is good though.
I'm also interested in pharmacology and chemistry. I watch geeky physics videos on youtube.
I used to and still do know way too much about cars than I probably should, although my fascination has been waning in recent years as I realize I'll probably never be able to afford anything I end up daydreaming about. I really like 80's cars and early economy cars. I think it would be way cool to buy or build an electric car.
I write alot. Mostly metaphorical, meandering semi-lucid blocks of text that exist only in dark, empty buildings.
I'm a musician. (buy my synth. I'm poor.)

I love triphop, doom metal, classical, and anything by tool or king crimson. And everything else in existence. I breach bandwidth limits in fits of downloading.
I have done way too many dissociatives, hallucinogens, and opiates and I am currently enjoying earning back my lost brain cells in the years since I stopped. I still get freaked out sometimes by random things though, and my bpd situation is alot more evident than it used to be. I've been more into meditation and dreaming lately.
I paint stuff black. I know what buffing compound is and anyone who doesn't shouldn't touch a paintcan.
I like sex. A bunch. That's a hobby, right?
I enjoy cooking alot but most of the time I am too broke to afford food and not to mention a decent pan, wok, or set of knives.

Basically, I like art, building things, music, design, learning, and getting lucid in a highly composed fantasy world.

ive got some, active ones and hobbies on hiatus.

the hiatus ones:

i used to draw and paint a lot
i used to race radio controlled cars (i still have all the gear, i should get it to work again i guess)

the current ones:
i like nature, therefor i am into hiking and mushroom-picking
i am also a big movie buff, i watch movies constantly and i even keep a movie diary lol
my biggest love although must be music. i used to play the guitar. now i only collect records - the vinyl ones - and i have a few thousand by now.
i collect computers (i got ten by now)

I just got into Yoga and so far love it.

I also have a nice sport touring motorcycle which i use to just get lost in the local mountains where I practice my worst hobby yet, photography!
