She thinks I sold out by coming back so soon after our coup. However, even though she will never admit it, I also think she secretly wants to come back and participate.

So lets all ask nicely. I am sure we can all play nice together in the HA sandbox. Danielle, mi amor, come back my little sugar plum... If she doesn't I will tickle her feet silly the next time I see her.

I also think it's time that Vicki and Danielle went out together dressed alike again. Why is Vicki talking about herself in the third person? Because she's a kook that's why. No I'm not really, but I want Danielle to come back.

"Crikey" is used here a lot - because 'Farscape' was a partly Australian effort, and shot here, it probably crept into the show that way. It was going out of fashion until Steve Irwin started using so frequently/ It's sort of back in fashion, but considered a little dodgy.
BTW - great show, shouldn't have been cancelled. "The Peacekeeper Wars" still hasn't been shown here, and probably won't ever. Thank God (you right there J? OK if I say that?) for torrents, or I'd never have seen it. :wink:

Sorry to hear about the Peacekeeper wars not being showed there Sid, While I wasn't the biggest Farscape fan in the universe i still loved the show and the peacekeeper wars was a good ending to the story (with a slight hook for a future series (won't spoil it for you)).

SciFi channel may have been incredibly stupid and greedy to dump Farscape in favor of more lucrative programming, but at least they've brought us a revamped Battlestar Galactica which is probably the best SF show on the tube today. (Still not as original or outrageous as Farscape, but excellent, tight writing, acting, and overall plotting so far.)

P.S. I'm waiting for a Cylon TS....

I'm all for having danielle as well as any other tgirls here - they make the board more interesting for everyone. The guys' opinions are welcome but represent just that - the guys' point of view. Dani was fun, humorous, and unique. I hope to be alone with her someday, and this is one of the very few places i can get to know her a little first, to enhance the face-to-face meeting when it occurs.
I'd recommend that anyone who gets pissed off here either just give it back to the insulting jerks or just take a break. Making broad pronouncements like 'I'm leaving forever' is a hard and unnecessary vow to keep. I guarantee that without the girls' presence and the posts that include pictures, membership would shrink significantly.
And for those guys who regard this as 'kissing ass', two things:
1. it's not - it's being friendly
2. if one of these girls was with you in a hotel, many of us would be glad to kiss their ass or whatever they wanted kissed! :lol:

Anyway I have been a SG-1 fan from the start and even I have to agree with you about the new BG series tremendous start i have loved every episode to date. I loved the outrageous of Farscape but it was a series you had to watch! Not so much for the continuity but for the shear number of characters that came and went.

Anyway I really don't have much hope for SCI-FI channel after NBC got its claws into her it is only a matter of time until it is littered with 'reality shows'. :( (to date they have already had one unreality show and although all of them are horrible as hell to me that one was the worse i have ever seen.)

So what's wrong with a little off-topic? :P BG has promised to keep things entirely human/cylon and not introduce weird aliens into the mix. So long as the characters and stories remain as interesting as they have been, that's fine by me. Badly drawn, insipid aliens are the bane of good SF anyway.

The thing with Farscape is that they had a wild range with offbeat, original aliens. The show was inconsistent in quality, but always daring to approach things in an original way which is so un-Hollywood (and un-NBC as you say). And sexuality (which is where this topic ties back in) on Farscape was crazy wild. Inter-species sex, even pan-sexuality, let alone transsexuality. Remember Virginia Hey's character, who was really (iirc) a sentient plant? Her erotic encounters with Crichton where amazing.

My favorite SF sexual concepts though remain on the one hand Ursula Le Guinn's androgynous aliens in "The Left Hand of Darkness" who were sexless except during their mating time, when they could assume the characteristics of either sex, and the Centauri of "Babylon 5" who have six sex organs, with male organs being prehensile tentacles that can grow as long as one and a half meters and female sex organs being slits on the lower back, three on each side of the spine. Centauri only need to use one tentacle and one slit for intercourse, but (as expected) the more of the organs they use, the greater the sexual pleasure. Ah well, we must be satisfied with our single "tentacle," but at least we have both a tentacle and a slit, lol. :twisted:

Hey that is the beauty of scifi and of any genre out there they get away with it the most. That is scifi can introduce new social idea's and no one seems to get their panties in a bind over it.

Star Trek = first interracial kiss on primetime TV
Bab 5= the centauri and their sex organs (loved the episode where londo used it to cheat at cards :D ) the mimbari and their sex rituals
Farscape= nuff said to them the envelope did not exist.

The implications of the cylon clones on BG are fascinating, too. Imagine a 3-way...with three Cylon Vicki's! (Or your girl of choice.) I also love the Cylon in the good doctor's mind...where he's making love to her but everyone else just sees him. Great stuff.

i love the end scene in the episode the Edward James Almos directed where in the midst of Baltar's lab there is all this Chaos going on and Baltar is just spinning in his chair while in his mind he is being rode by Six.
