View Full Version : Thoughts on the Democrat debate...

Obviously this is my first post, but I think this is an interesting and important topic. Some of my reflections thus far include:
- Barack Obama really does have it - that being the innate charisma/charm that people look for in their leaders
- I liked what Dennis Kucinich was saying, though he completely polarized himself from some voters. I noticed too, on the topic of gay marriage/civil union, he was the only candidate that specifically mentioned equal rights for transgendered individuals
- Mike Gravel kinda came off as a crazy old man, but a lot of what he said was encouraging (as far as anything in politics can be encouraging)
- Hillary was okay. Not bad. Not good. Just okay.
- The incorporation of youtube was a blatant attempt to attract younger people (like myself) but it did make the debate more engaging

Any other thoughts/opinions/observations?
