I thought I started a gadget thread some time ago, but after a non-lengthy search I decided to just make this up

If you have any products you think are interesting, post em up, leave the sarcasm at the door though, enough threads for that already

at $4300 it's insanely overpriced, but I see someone out there copying it in the near future for less than $1000 so I'll wait

Good thread, good gadgets. This is the thing I'm finding interesting right now. Not so much it, but where this sort of direction is heading.

I'm starting to like that i-Phone, but since I don't want to switch carriers, that LG just may become an option.

Here's a gadget I'm feeling- the Pioneer AVIC-D3. I currently have the AVIC-N3 (with the fold-out screen); this new model would be even better...if only it would fit in my ride. At least I could switch the colors to match my dashboard lighting!

My latest pre-ordered Device (http://www.archos.com/products/gen_5/archos_605wifi/index.html?country=global&lang=en).

When I first took a look at the Archos 605 wi-fi device, I didn't get too
excited about it. After-all my laptop, and or my smartphone can perform
those functions

Then I took a look at the storage capacity, and let's just say you can put
me down for one of those as well.

Oooh, me too. I mean... I don't remember it, but I still love tubes. I have disassembled and repaired a couple old tube radios that were headed to the dump to use as signal processing devices.
And I have an '81 peavy amp with 120 watts of tube power through a 12" scorpion speaker. I usually don't care for peaveys, but this thing is killer for bass.
Tube circuitry just fascinates me for some reason.
