Ive been to Barcelona a few times, but am now going with a view to meeting up with some of the Brazilian girls out there. Do they tend to live in the same area ? Barcelona is quite a big place and it would be neat to be as close as possible to them. If they're spread all over i'll just get a place on the Ramblas or similar

Thanks

I was just in Barcelona in June and with my gf so
we were kinda doing it on the cheap staying in
Hostels. There is a great one in Barcelona called
HelloBCN. Inexpensive, located on Calle de la
Rambla Nu which runs parallell to the coastline,
at right angles to La Rambla about 5 blocks east
of it. Great place and very close to the red light
district of Barcelona. Most of the Trans clubs though
are further north in Barcelona. This is just off the
cuff but I'm sure I have some details kicking around
still if you want.

I think most of the girls live in the center-

Seems ti be a huge influx there of South American girls now.

Was just there but on holiday so all I did was go out to restaurants, beach, and a little sight seeing. No night clubs or anything wild.

Its a great city.

I stayed at this hotel Granados 83- and it was really great. Very modern and minimalist- which is what I love. Great service , great room.

Very convinient- tons os restaurants on the street.

Really wanted to stay a The Arts but it was sold out. I really recommend this place though. I have had bad experinces in Barcelona at supposed 4 and 5 stat places but this was great.

ooooh a reply from Allanah as well !

Thanks all.

I've stayed at the Arts, if you like minimalist I think you'd find it a bit Eurotash Allanah. If you spend most of your time on the beach then its perfect, but for me it's just a little too far out of the centre for strolling.

The centre huh ? In that case I'll aim for the top of the Ramblas....what is that damed square called by En Corte ingles ?

Thanks again

Yeah that is the main reason I wanted to stay at the Arts- for the beach.

I have been in before and I thought it was really well done- but can't say I have experience as a guest.

Hotels in Barca can be dodgy- this beingmy fith visit I have dound out first hand.

Yes I have fallen foul of some dodgy accomodation in Barcelona. Hotel Arts is very nice ( especially when the company is paying ), and the pool is fabulous, It just struck me as yet another hotel that exists for the the conspicuously wealthy to be................well, conspicuous !

The amount of girls in Barcelona overwhelms me, though I suspect a few of the advertisement photographs are digitally enhanced.

If you haven't discovered it yet, this Spanish-language message board (a kind of Spanish HA) is a treasure chest of information for gold seekers in Spain...

The locals are friendly and will help you if you post in Spanish. But first check if your question hasn't been answered already there.

Barcelona is a great city, for many reasons. I lived there for a time in the 90's. Many nice memories. The name of that square that you're looking for with the big El Corte Inglés is the Plaça de Catalunya.

Que lo pases bien en Barcelona!
