I'm bored with my current page and from some of the pm's I've been getting so are a few of the chicks..............

nope, no idea. I'm sure you could try some of the myspace forums out there though. yeah I haven't been on my myspace page in ages

i found some really good concepts on customize.org @ DKG but they are labor intensive as far as going in to the page, copying the format, then re writing the page to suit your needs

but you're absolutely right, I'll keep searching

my main gripe is getting my music to work, I uploaded it to a site and something in my code is preventing it from appearing via firefox
ugh

I know somebody who knows how to do it, the good thing about the original page is that it is very easy to read unlike some of the works of art some people put up.

agreed, mine is very simple, no graphics, no movies, none of that bullshit, some chicks hate that, most people thank me for not crashing their low end pc's

I hates it soooo much.
I have 2.84ghz and 2gb of ram and I can barely load some people's pages. It drives me crazy. :( Stupid myspace.

Use this: http://www.strikefile.com/myspace/

I used that to make my myspace (with some tweaking done on my part, such as the Contact Box). Very useful tool, especially if you don't know CSS.

www.mywackospace.com has a layout generator. You can add whatever backrounds, contact tables you want, etc, and customise the page to however you see fit. It's pretty good.

My page looks fucking awesome. But I'm not gonna put a link to my myspace in this form

Good question, Johnny. I've been meaning to look ignorant once more around here by asking that very question.

I know how everyone feels about these pages that have so much crap on them, it takes hours to load up.

I'll admit my page (not the Willie Escalade one) has a custom layout. I made sure that it doesn't take too long to load though. I don't have any music or slideshows on it, but I do have a video clip linked from YouTube. It doesn't cause any problems though.

I used http://www.skem9.com/html/ myself. I picked a custom overlay and tweaked it a bit. If you know CSS, it should be no problem.

I made mine, not too long ago, to look like a newspaper. Then I went through a Flash stage (until they f*cked that up) and now I went back to normal xhtml/css. I've been too lazy lately to design a new one but it'll do for now.
