The Texas Chainsaw massacre and The Silence of the Lambs are based on him/her
He dug up numerous dead bodies of women and skinned them to wear it before surgeries were widely available, he did so to become a woman or channel his mother's spirit. He communicated to friends how he wished he was a woman. He even brought up the subject of surgery constantly with people around him, who just dismissed him as odd.
He murdered two women and hund one from the rafters of his barn dressed out like a dear.
In his house people found lamps made out of human spines, human faces drying out to be used as masks, a skull cap he used as a bowl, and tons of furniture made out of human parts. He also collected vulvas which he often wore around the house.
