wow i could scream it from the rooftops. And im not even talking businesswise, but the money here is cool as well. The people rock, everyone is SOOOO friendly here. And i cant walk a block without gaining a new friend! This place kicks ass!!!! I really wish i would have visited sooner. Also, you haven't had cheesecake til you've had it in Philly! MmmMMMhhHHHhh! Im not running out of things to do here.... but any ideas or suggestions on spots to hit before i leave? i wanna see it all, this city is da isht :P

i considering maybe moving here. i really like it. Of course im still gona work my way west and see if i like any other cities better. I hear im gonna love chicago and hollywood. Im looking forward to visiting both, soon as im able to peel away from nyc. I still have a few tiny strings keeping me from heading too far out, but as soon as i can... i am soooo out of here. But im just really surprised by this city. Even the women are super nice to me. Theres this diner where i eat everyday and the whole crew knows me by name, day and night shift! lol. They're all super cool. Today i was chatting with KC (my favorite waitress) and she gathered the whole group of girls when i told her i was interested in getting a new haircut while im out here. Some of the other customers even joined in the conversation and i wound up getting a number of a stylist from a guy who was eating at the diner with a girlfriend. it was wierd. lol. They're talking about how people are trying to build casino's out here and how they dont want it to attrack the wrong types of people. Im an outsider, but i was totally in on the conversation lol. This place feels so much like home to me. And no one has a clue that im a tranny.

Give it about six months.....murder rate in philly is over 180 now, and for every cool person you meet theres an asshole right around the corner.

You wont think its so swell after awhile of being here. People are fleeing the city like rats on a sinking ship, just monitor the rental values for awhile.

And as for those idiots saying that the casinos will attract the wrong kind of people....man....what utter retards....Obviously they dont drive out to north philly, germantown, west philly or parts of south philly....I really wish you could choke people with there own stupidity sometimes; The money those casino's will bring in just might save philadelphia from its inexorable slide.

If you do decide to move there though, try to get in at a decent place in brewerytown while the rents are still cheap.....its undergoing a rehab of sorts.

Yea, I have been to 'em all excpet Sisters. I never saw a reason to go there, but I heard they are some friendly folks.

The clubs you listed are all very good. But, I tended to go to:
1. Emerald City
2. Fluid
3. South St.
4. Transit
5. Tatooed Mom's

Although you may not be looking for this, the Philly that I have always loved is the quiet Philly - try going to the world's finest Impressionist Art collection outside of Paris (the Barnes Foundation) or walking through the historic district and dinner at Tangerine. It's a truly beautiful SMALL town City. It's wonderful you've found it so delightful. I also have a little private party I regularly attend that's tgirl/cd centric out by the airport that's as friendly and intimate. So wonderful you love it - what part of the city are you in, Ruby girl?
