well name one major studio doing major movies w/ all gays, all gay subjects, gay parodys of regular movies? it just wouldnt fly or be a major hit at the box office and so making it for cheap makes sence bc the ppl that would want o see it will and theyll make a profit by targeting key audience... or something

well yes you do have a point but i would consider myself the audience for such a movie and just 5 seconds of that thing even in youtube quality looks bad enough to turn me away (and that despite being a huge fan of trash comedies like weird science and bill & teds)
theres just something about the lighting and camera work which looks disgustingly amateurish

when it comes to movies with a largely "gay" roles i can think of quite a few though which looked quite a lot better and seem to have done more or less well at the box office movies like birdcade priscilla and to wong foo come to mind... and outside of the comedy genre todo sobre mi madre looks like it conquered its audience as well
