Although, I still don't understand why Silklove wants to know what he asked me about.

Edit: He says he thinks I'm an expert. So that's good (I suppose).

We need threads to post in dood, more threads the better.

Actually, the point has been made many times before. But JWBL has put it particularly well this time.

I'm sorry if i wasted valuable space by starting a thread, I just wanted to harass Ecstatic. Anyway, I thought it might be an interesting and, for some, pertinent topic.

I'm actually a bit of a fan of the various "Alannah, PM Me" threads.

On the flip side of that........if everyone used PMs all of the time then HA forum would die due to inactivity. That would be true if all 600+ pages of threads were nothing but messages addressed to one person. From what I've seen, a very, very small percentage of threads are like that. The rest are public discussions meant for any and all.

Ecstatic: Touche. I haven't been here long enough to see how you all run things. ;p

Are there any policies for mindless poll threads as well?

Apparently, most seem to think it is akin to smoke-em-if-you-got-em. :shrug

there hasn't been 1 "Am I Gay?" or "I think I'm gay?" or "Does this make me gay?" thread since the polls have been active, so no, there is no policy, but I'll keep a close eye on the really weird ones

We need an AM I GAY poll with options for YES, NO and MAYBE...
