Day in and day out whenever I stop by the forum, there's always a few inane or just outright ridiculous questions about transsexuals.

Now, I realize some of you are a little isolated and whatnot, so I thought I'd share something with you. But it's a secret and no one supposed to know. Let's keep it on the DL, alright? Okay, here it is:

TRANSSEXUALS ARE HUMAN BEINGS JUST LIKE YOU!

They take hormones, have surgeries...and this may change their appearance....but inside they are HUMAN BEINGS just like you.

Ssshhhh!

:jawdrop You mean they're not from Uranus?

But seriously, I know what you're saying. We've had all these weird questions and polls, it sometimes seems like some people think that transsexuals are either wrong in the head or from another planet.

We are humans!

One thread that was started really annoyed me....It was one that a guy posted( I don't know his user name nor do I want to point a finger). Basically he just posted all the pics of girls he has been with...It bothered me because it made it seem like those girls were collectable item's, like barbie dolls or something.

Just what I think.... :|.

Sadly, that's too often true, Luna. Think of questions like "how many transsexuals have you had sex with?" People are people....

Girl, to some of them, that's all we are.

Prey to be captured, another notch in their
bed posts.

All we are is bragging rights and conquests.
"I fucked so and so, and then she flipped me
over and fucked me so hard, I couldn't walk
straight".

"Next week, I'm going to see xxxxxx, I heard
she has a 10 inch cock, have any of you guys
been with her".

"Can you identify this tranny"..... etc, etc.

Like they were little boys colecting baseball cards.

"Be vwerry quiet"

"I'm chasing twannies"

Sadly, that's too often true, Luna. Think of questions like "how many transsexuals have you had sex with?" People are people....

The way you started off I thought you were going to ask "How many transsexuals does it take to screw in a lightbulb" (Answer: "None. It's difficult enough for two transsexuals to fit into the lightbulb, let alone have sex in it". )

But seriously, I remember the thread Luna refers to and I agree completely.

That's why I love(d) Silklove's polls. They were so inane you know that he/she was just doing it to screw with people's heads.

I mean, who could forget such classics as:

Does a tummy rub from a Pre TG feel different than a Post op?

If you became a TG can you have babys?

does a tg and a gg cum differently?

ha! brilliant satire. :)

Luna....Like you, I remember the thread, not the user. I took the whole thing as a No_Dick asshole trying to make himself feel important. I am positive he rationalized the thread by convincing himself he would gain greater acceptance from the community, in that manner. Which means, in literal terms, "His head is stuck up his ass, and his mind is in neutral". You shouldn't let people like that bother you, and unfortunately they can make it onto the site with little or no effort. FUCK'EM!!!!!!!! :rock2

Not =my= anus, but definitely from another planet (If not a whole 'nother galaxy).

I have mixed feelings on this. Being poly by nature, I have a skewed view of relationships/encounters to begin with. While I don't see the people I've been with as conquests or trophys, I do see tham as treasured experiences.

Actually, I believe some of them have to make quite a concerted effort.

That said, the majority of guys are asshats. Except for you guys that aren't asshats. :P

That's so vewwy twue, Peggy. But it's also a complex subject as well: I certainly and very deeply enjoy my sexual encounters, and will discuss them in varying detail at different times and places, but always with respect for my partner/provider. If ALL you see a sexual partner (whether an escort, a friend with benefits, a date, or a lover) as a conquest, then that's shallow and sad, but there can certainly be an element of that in any encounter, particularly a first-time encounter (I always liked John Sebastian's way of putting it: "with each new person it's a new first time around").

I think that's a fair point Luna and it's one of the reasons I would not do that. There is real interaction between the guys and the girls here-- it doesn't seem appropriate, to me.

It's just the fact that they're unfortunately viewed from a mainly sexual form of thought, and people aren't very familiar with them being actual humans as opposed to pictures they use when they masturbate.

People are People, and Human.

if you slap a jew, a black, a white, an indian, a man, a woman or a Transsexual they will feel angry towards you.

if you help them they will feel greatful.

if your mean to them they will be sad.

if you do something nice they will feel happy

if you offer them friendship they will try to be friendly in kind.

everyone is based upon the same emotional and mental building blocks.

everything else is just Cultural Windowdressing.

I've said here before that I try to live my life by a simple code of doing nothing that harms another person mentally or physically. and I wish more would do the same. especially on-line.

basically before you say/do/post just ask a simple question how would I feel if it was directed at me?

Thread-bumping, gotta love it. :)

Sometimes TW and I will go out for Chinese. Invariably, one of the restaurant staff will (In that way that people of color will say "Yo" or "Hey" to complete strangers of a similar hue) ask "What are you?", referring to her Amerasian appearance (She is Korean/Caucasian). She will look puzzled for a moment and then half-ask: "Human?".

yeah i think so. but back on topic:

this thread is cool and all, but we've all failed to established where this human-ness ends and subhamanity begins. I mean, when can we say "okay, that isn't human" because by the sound of it, everything is human.

well now your bringing up the old Humanism vs. humanity debate

humanity is about the nobler emotions and thought
charity, forgiveness and kindness etc.

humanism is more about the "whats in it for me" mentality.
or selfishness petiness jealousy and hate.

I know which one I prefer my fellow man to follow...

Congrat's You just made a new word with subhumanity.

The concept of subhuman exist's only in creature of the deep films or... in its' closest translation to the world we live in the word Untermensch: meaning under man or sub-man.
It is how German Nazi's described any inferior race ie. the jews.

I don't know if that is how a gg percieves a tg -maybe as a kink, or an interesting new world of men to attempt to insult but next time use a dictionary.
