Good grief. Not another one. They just won't be happy 'til they ruin every memory of cartoons I had. It's not bad enough they don't make good cartoons anymore, they have to fuck the ones we had. Why don't they do the thundercats, that was laughable and no one would care if they messed that up. Plus seeing somebody play Mumrah would be classic!!

skeletor should be a CGI character, at least his head. not a guy in a mask like that hideous 80's movie adaptation they made...

ummm... and brad pitt as he-man... i don't think so... one semi-naked brad pitt was enough, on Troy.

part of the charm of the cartoon was exactly that: it was a cartoon... not everything from the 80's translates well to live action...

Transformers, that's a nice concept to take to live action. He-Man... not.

I like Brad Pitt as an actor, but you have to be kidding me with this nonsense. Not only is the idea of a "He-Man" movie completely uninteresting, but Pitt is all wrong for a part like that. Though he may be a decent actor, he lacks the imposing, formidable presence necessary to pull off a role like that. If you saw "Troy" then you know what I'm talking about.

More unoriginal, completely uninteresting shit form Hollywood. I wish I could say that I was surprised.

They're going to destory speed racer too, and transformers is going to be out soon. These so called artists are getting as bad and desperate as the pornographers.

Hmm... http://intogossip.blogspot.com/2007/05/brad-pitt-denies-he-man-rumors.html

I'm hoping for some good old 80s slightly campy sci fi here, but I guess that won't happen....

Last night I watched the Omen remake with Julia Stiles and it was pathetic, even worse than The Grudge at taking itself seriously and more retarded than Thing Ring.

Steered clear of most horror movies as of late, actually been having the longest break from movie watching in my entire life, close to 8 weeks now.

I read about this on superherohype.com but there was no mention of Brad Pitt or any other actors at this point, so I'm not sure if that is true but I do know I wouldn't buy him in that role. As for the Transformers I'm leery at this point. Optimus looks right, but Bumble Bee as a Camaro?Jazz a Pontiac, and I haven't seen or heard what Megatron is going to be but the robot is butt ass ugly.
