I had my surgery today and although I am not quite as sore as expected, there is still a lot of blood leakage. I am very uncomfortable and I have to change the dressing often.

She's not gonna post all "doped up" because she doesn't do pain pills. I'm still curious as what this surgery was, although more importantly I'm glad to hear everything apparently went well.

If you want something to keep your mind off your discomfort tonight, you can laugh at my new machine I put together after work. Biostar Ta690G mobo, AMD 64 x2 4200 cpu, 2 gigs (dual channel) Gskill ddr2 800 ram (great stuff, timings are 4-4-3-5, $115 for 2 matched sticks), and I slapped an old Audigy 2 platinum in for sound.

And that's it! I'm using onboard graphics for the first time, but they seem pretty solid so far. I'm not buying a pci X16 card until the prices go down.

That's my pick-you-up for you for the night. You've probably got a quad core, dual SLI rig by now, and will find my rickety new machine laughingly retarded.

Gotta check out how it games now.

heh... Honda's actually right on this one. I never take my pain meds. I always get from the pharmacy but never take them.

I am doing OK so far. If my bleeding will stop I will be happy.

Ha your like me , even the time I twisted my bollocks playing rugby and had to go to hospital to have an op I never took pain the meds when I got out of the hospital.

They've almost killed me! No joke.

It could also be: ingrown toenail removal, gall bladder, appendix removal, orchidectomy, castration, frontal lobotomy (so she can argue on equal footing with some posters), penis enlargement, breast augmentation, breast removal, surgical removal of foreign objects from the anal passage...the list is long...

Though, I do hope she gets recuperates well and quickly...

The last few surgeries I had I ended up giving the pills to my boyfriend at the time. He was going down a hill on one of those pavement sleds with one of his sons and they both wiped out on a corner. He ripped the arm out of the socket. He really needed them more than I ever have.
