OK...i'm letting the cat out of the bag. Yeah, i'm black, rough, tough, and all that bullshit but i'm also the biggest comic book to screen geek there is! Is anyone else excited about this movie or am I just the only one? Friday night tickets are sold out in my area.

And ummm, can we talk about Heroes? That show kicks ass. The future Peter Petrelli rocks out. Mohinder has to be the smartest dumbest person ever. Did he realize that he killed the "cure" for the hero gene last night. Does anyone else notice that the Haitian guy null and voids all there powers. Why not take a blood sample from the guy, replicate it and put it in serum form...maybe cause it'd be too much of a bite from X men.

Love that show man.

Not seen it yet, but I am sure it will be good, I just wish they would stick to one Villan per film though, technically there's three in this one:

Venom, Goblin's son, and Sandman.

i'll be sad when heroes ends. future peter and future hiro were koo, and the future sylar was ridiculos plot twist, never saw it coming, but it was great. btw, Claire is hotter as a blonde.

I've been rather impressed by the Spiderman franchise to date (Including the Easter eggs of 'Mr. Greenfield' from Debby Does Dallas in #1 and 'Michael' from Queer As Folk in #2) so I must confess to being anxious about the release of #3.

Being a hermit, I don't get out much, so the chances of my seeing the flick on initial release are somewhat slender. Reviews would be appreciated (With as few spoilers as possible).

I think they're trying to cover a lot (maybe too much) of ground with this one - the whole storyline of Peter's relationship with Gwen and Capt Stacy seems like it'll be trivialized, but I'm really looking forward to it anyway.

The plethora of villains makes spidey look incredibly average.

In a way Sylar's power and Peters power are kind of dumb. The power to be everything? Yawn. It makes the other folk seem kinda average, especially when they start doing shit that the original people couldn't.

Blckhaze, what are you saying? Future Hiro was a pussy! Nikki/Jessica had him shook in the club... did you see his face? He was scared to death. Now, regarding Parkman sneaking up on him with the taser... Why didn't he realize Parkman and fifty FBI agents were there when they were in his line of sight, to his immediate right? Luckily, Peter then comes to save Hiro's ass, using Hiro's own powers better than he could. Of course, Parkman ultimately kills Hiro, because with all the stuff going on around him, Hiro didn't have the sense to use his powers to stop time in his immediate area. What a genius... The Sylar twist was wack. All that time, Sylar continuously kept up the illusion of being Nathan Petrelli and no one knew? Nathan's wife, Soresh... no one? Anyway, I knew it was Sylar when "Nathan" started talking about how it was necessary to kill all the superpowered people, because Sylar wants to be the only one there is, not Nathan. Can someone tell me why they keep calling Soresh "professor" when he's not a professor? His father was the professor, not him! And Bmore, no one in the last episode did anything the "original people couldn't". They just knew how to use their abilities better than they do in the present time. Remember, Peter learned to become invisible a number of episodes into the show, but the "Invisible Man" let him know that he could become invisible all along. On a totally different matter, because the "heroes" will succeed in saving the world... does that mean that since Hiro will have traveled to a future that doesn't come to pass that he is able to travel not only through time and space, but to alternate dimensions as well? Hmmm....

Personally think the show is good, though was disappointed when they lifted the one of the main plots for watchmen to their show.
