I'm looking at a career change (back) by the end of the year
if all goes well. Although this restaurant management thing
has worked out pretty well I only got into it because I was
desperate for work when I first arrived in NYC. My "thing"
is doing art/rec/rehab work with children with special needs.
That's what I did before for 14 years and I think it's time I
got back into it.

I would be an idiot to every screw up my relationship with
my gf. She is amazing and we have an open situation so
what more could I ask for?

Where we live is great, a 3BR for under $2000 here in NYC
is a steal. The 10min walk to work doesn't hurt either.

Oh, I would change the fucking administration of this country!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say I'm pretty satisfied at the moment. Everything is running along nicely on the homefront/workplace enviroments, which allows me to pursue things for the future. Among other things, I've honed my chili cooking skills to a fine razors edge over the last several months (yes, a real objective for me), learned a ton about the history of chili, aquired books and read up on various chili peppers around the world, and joined the International Chili Society.

I can honestly say I now make the best chili I (or anyone else who has tried it thus far) have ever tasted, in several varieties. Why am I investing this much effort into this pursuit? Heh. I have my reasons.

But yes, everything is going well, full speed ahead for me right now.

And good to see ya posting again, scorpion. Just no more trying to lure me into that damn "Machine Room".

For me, it’s a no-brainer: I need to learn to relax and take it easy. Now that my Mononucleosis is more or less gone, it’s almost time to give the whole semi-retirement thing a try again. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve worked so hard to get where I am that it has become part of who I am – and I can’t stop. I honestly think living here in NYC plays a large role in my problem as this place feeds every ambitious, competitive, and aggressive impulse in my being.

With that in mind, I’ve spent the last year plus selling off my various holdings here in the Northeast. Now, with the exception of a pre-war flat in Riverdale – the one I live in – I’m done. That sole remaining Northeast property will go on the market next week.

I want more grass, trees, and water. I want more golfing and fishing. I want peace and quiet. In short, I want Georgia. On May 31st, I’ll be going down to Georgia in order to close on my newest property there. I don’t intend to come back.

When I was younger, I never cared how long I lived so long as I achieved all of my goals. Now that I essentially have achieved those goals, I find myself caring a hell of a lot more than I used to. I need to get my Type A ass out of here and change things up, again.

I wish I could heal a person's mind or body by wishing for it hard enough

I wish I could remove hate from the world, including my own heart at times.

I wish I could end racism.

I wish every wrong done to people could be undone.

I wish there was enough food for everyone and no one was homeless.

I wish I had a bigger cock.

I wish I was a professional golfer.

I wish I could pay attention better.

I wish I could work out less and have fun more.........not care about my body so much.

I wish I had more tome for creative projects, and could do more for people I come across every day. That's about it.
