If you pay for a very very expensive operation can you have babys?
Is this why some want to people became TG?

Would you want to have babys? How long does this process take?
is it quicker?
Scientists are working on this has it became ready yet?

Under the current scientific and surgical skill/knowledge, it's impossible for a Post op transexual to have children.

Would be tough. Theoretically possible, but technically very difficult.

1st you would need a uterine transplant. Aside from some preliminary work (mainly in animals), this is still some time off. Still with such a procedure you'd need immunosuppressive drugs to avoid rejection. This is relatively nasty stuff... don't know how it would affect a fetus.

2nd you'd need eggs. This is would most likely be done via a donor and IVF.

3rd who knows how a birth canal created after SRS + uterine transplant would hold up during child birth. I'm guessing not too well. Also a male pelvis is less wide than that of a female causing more difficulties. A C-section would likely be necessary.

Vala,

Yes- post ops cannot bear children. I doubt that there will be a major breakthrough to change that fact anytime soon, because-

1. Genetic males cannot produce egg cells. There is no procedure or drug which can induce egg cell production. Males and TGs do not have ovaries- it's that simple.
2. Genetic males do not have a womb. The vaginal cavity in postops does not lead to a uterus but to a dead end. It would be impossible to create an internal womb in a genetic male. Any idea of children being carried in an abdominal cavity is the stuff of comedy (and has been the subject of one particularly bad movie)

Pre-op TGs, on the other hand, cannnot give birth to children but can- stricly speaking- have children (and I can think of one at least that has) as long as they can still produce functional sperm and find a woman to bear and give birth to the child.

If enough people vote YES, then it will be possible. Sort of like a "wiki-truth."

I heard they are working on surgeries like this in Europe.

If TSs can't get pregnant, then why do their male partners wear a condom?

is this a troll??

a GG might do the pill or something else to prevent getting pregnant, still when having casual sex the guy wears a condom. if he's not a total dork.

I give you four letters:

gimme an 'A'! A!
gimme an 'I'! I!
gimme a 'D'! D!
gimme an 'S'! S!

what's that spell? AIDS!
what's that spell? AIDS!
what's that spell? AIDS!
what's that spell? AIDS!
what's that spell? AIDS!

Because of STD's. Gay/bi men/TG/TV's are much more succeptible to getting HIV than people who practice "straight" sex.

So I don't have to worry about getting pregnant if I am getting fucked hard in my T-Girl "Ass-Pussy" by my boyfriend and he shoots his load deep inside my ass and he isn't wearing a condom? :o

That would be a no.

A TG can get a GG pregnant so yes a TG can have a baby. Or they could try stealing one like some GG do from the hospital. If they do that they must put a pillow under their shirt for 9 months before they take the baby and also they must take the a baby of the same race.

I would suggest getting a GG pregnant but if you must steal one make sure to tell anyone that knows you have a penis that the baby was delivered by a new process called gender pregnancy reassignment. That way nobody will suspect a thing.

A TG can get a GG pregnant so yes a TG can have a baby.

This probably won't be an option for most TG's because:
1. No TG wants to be the "dad"
2. As a result of taking estrogen, TG's end up sterile unless they put some semen in a sperm bank.
3. They wouldn't be "having" the baby technically, the GG would be

http://transwoman.tripod.com/pregnant.htmhttp://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/magi43/baby-14.gif

In our lifetime, transwomen should be able to have children.

I can understand your apprehension, and indeed there
are some obstacles to overcome.

(Here is one proposed technique)
The uterus, not the cervix, fallopian tubes or ovaries would
be transplanted as indicated by the illustration.
http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/magi43/uterus.jpg

Ideally a hysterectomy performed on a close relative would
provide a viable uterus, ie, one that would be less likely to
be rejected.

Further, the transplanted uterus would only be in place long
enough for the pregnancy to complete, and then would be
removed, so that the women would not have to remain on
drugs to prevent her body from rejecting the transplant.

Also note, the arteries supporting the blood flow, thus negating
the circulatory concerns you put forth.

By the way IVF stands for, in vitro fertilization. A method of
assisted reproduction that involves combining an egg with
sperm in a laboratory dish. If the egg fertilizes and begins cell
division, the resulting embryo is transferred into the woman's
+ uterus where it will hopefully implant in the uterine lining and
further develop. IVF may be performed in conjunction with
medications that stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs
in order to increase the chances of successful fertilization and implantation.

At the current level of reproductive science, a transsexual woman,
would not be able to be impregnated in the conventional manner,
but rather would have to go this route.

Why, I can almost hear the pitter-patter, of little 'peggys' and little 'denzel's' feet.

Now, if we could only do something about the 'poopy diapers' and
his or her college tuition, we will be half way home :D

Of course Tgirls Can have children. But if the question is Can they give Birth? No DUH!!! Every1 should know that, but theres plenty of Tgirls with child and a few that have graced this board. I personally have a 2y/o son and hes just everything to me.
