I recently found myself running out of space on my hardrive (Majority of it being consumed by porn). And I have some movies that are absolute crap but theres 1-2 scenes in those movies that keep me from deleting them. Anyone know of some simple tools I can use to chop off certain parts of these movies or extract certain parts and get rid of the rest? The old Windows Media Player used to be able to do it but they got rid of that function. Any help is appreciated.

PC or mac...there's lots of freeware/shareware on the net you can use. Don't know any by name...use teh Google...it knows all. :)

Cut Assistant, Virual Dub, Nan Dub, MPEG Scissors.
All freeware.
Should do what you want [depending on format].

Thanks guys. I had been tinkering with Virtual Dub but my C++ knowledge is minimal and certain parts require recoding. (Damn I hated that class) And it's PC btw.

KK I got it workin. Freed 2 gigs just off of my first 2 movies edited. Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Cut assistant got the job done. Only program other than virtual dub I had to add was asfbin.exe and its pretty str8 forward from there.
