so -- at the risk of hitting a sensitive subject for the guys --- here is question for the girls ---

how old is too old?

more specifically --- as you think about guys for an actual relationship or hookup (or even for girls who are working, as a client) ---
how old is old enough that you notice/care? how old creates an issue for you? how old is "middle-aged"? how old is too old for you? and how old is just plain disgusting?

Age doesn't really have a bearing to be honest. I've met guys in their 60's who are lovely, and guys in their early 20's who you wouldn't want to spend 3-minutes with. That's by no means a set rule though.

It comes down to a few things but not limited to; Looking after themselves; Attitude; Awareness of the world; Curiousity; Pain; Experiences.

Looks don't really enter into it. A person's looks are crafted by their personality. I personally found a 50-year old watch maker in a department store very sexy a few months back. It's how they do it. The young ones just lack that certain something. They're confident yes, but the older guys have a bit of almost innocence to them.

My partner is old enough to be my father. :) I could have a young guy with a Porsche and who likes going on holiday all the time, but I'm not sure I want that or if I'd just be the latest toy. I don't really know what I want. But what I have I'm happy with. We're planning to go to Keyna this summer to the Masai Mara.

Age isn't important. It's personality. There are guys out there in their 80's who have it. I don't know what they have, but they have it.

Men get sexier as they age too. :)

They seem to start their journey around about 25-30ish. There's a couple on here I know of in their 20's and they're brilliant. By the time they hit 40 they'll have the women dropping at their feet. I don't know what it is. I think it's experiences and having experienced pain that moulds them. Not sure.

Money??? Just Kidding.

No, I agree with Allison. When escorting I almost always prefer(red) older men to younger. Why? Because they really appreciated me. (Or at least they were much better at showing it). The dynamic was always very clear; I was beautiful and precious, and they were old and lucky. Voila. Younger guys were rarely satisfied, and often bitter that they were paying at all, not to mention inexperienced and naive as hell.

As far as dating for love and romance and stuff, age is a random element. I still generally prefer guys at least 10-15 years older than me, and women 5-10 years older (Although with gals I make many exceptions :D )

Seriously, don't worry about your age, just be cool.

I won't date anyone under 45. Mid 50's is perfect. I dont know if they were just raised in a different time but they treat me much better.

Yippee! I'm in. :)

Speaking of age, should one draw inferences from girls who post in their ads that they limit their clientelle to, say, 18 to 35, for example? What should one infer from that about the woman ? Just curious.

Hmm...$18-35k?

Kidding.

Settling into my 'golden years', this comes to the fore more often than I'd like. Yet, in recent years, I've had quite a few GGs throw themselves at me in ways I'd never before experienced. Shame that their predecessors had poisoned the well already. :(

Maybe a really good question that comes to mind is what do transsexual ladies , pre-op that is, do as they age? I mean into their 40's and later? Do you remain pre-op or go for the SRS? These may be personal questiona but Jeez we hardly ever hear or see older t-girls

This is a question that's hovvered in my head for a while. One assumes that many/most enter into stealth mode, whether or not they take on full SRS. One I've asked, at age 36-ish, has adamantly denied that she is going post-op, but I have to wonder.

This thread has made my day. I'm too young for Nadia!!!
If I haven't said it before, Nadia...you're a stunner. Stunnnnn-ner. Just watching a woman like you sleeping next to me makes me happy.
I went on a blind date last fall with a very cute 28 year old that was practically insulted that I was 42. I told her she was actually older than my last two relationships, but shouldn't have bothered. That was her mindset. I wish more women understood this simple fact - the easier it is for a man to get whatever he wants, the less likely it is that he'll be satisfied with one woman, however lovely.
And for my part, I love women in their early thirties (and with many Asian women - they keep their girlish figures forever.) Older women are more interesting usually. And if you're reading this and you're no longer girlish, ladies...of course you know that tastes vary. Thicker women have their own charms.

I honestly doubt I would be interested in any sort
of sexual thing with a guy who is over 50. Call me
ageist if you want. But at the same time any guy
under 30 is probably not going to be mature enough
for me.

Young guys tend to substitute arrogance for confidence.
