I have seen a few curious posts about the Vapor club in NYC on Madison and thought I would share my experiences from last week.

The club itself is quite small, about 20ft wide by 80ft long. There is an extra room at the back behind a net curtain but it wasn't used on either of the nights I was there. It is easy to spot, if Sunny Dee-Lite isn't sitting outside then there are usually a few tall women in heels hanging around. Everything is quite discreet, $20 at the door for men, free for girls.

Inside it starts off slow at about 10, peaks at about 1am (very few new faces after that time) and finishes at 4am. What surprised me was the ratio of girls to guys, about 1:1 both nights. On Tuesday I would say there were 20 girls and 20 guys at the peak, and on Tuesday there were 30 of each at around 1am. The atmosphere is very easy going. The girls are there to enjoy themselves and the guys soon relax. Some guys pay a little for a lap dance, others just buy drinks and chat, others do more but not in the club.

Drinks are not too bad, $13 for a spirit and mixer, $5 for a coke.

I have to say that on the first evening I was nervous but I needn't have been. The second time I was very relaxed. I met the delightful Kiesha and had a good chat to the fantastic Portia (Porsche?) who is 100% top quality old school tranny. Very glamorous and plays the part. Neither have photos in this forum as far as I can see. I was mesmerised by another girl Athena who is not my type but I couldn't take my eyes off her, just SO FULL if feminine life! There are a couple of pictures of Athena around here.

I was worried about being in a photo but the girls were very careful not to take any of the guys, even giving assurances.

What else, oh yes, the men ranged mostly from 30-50. Average age 40. The Thursday crowd seemed a bit younger. The girls were mainly non white which is what I like but there were 3 or 4 white girls.

Conclusion: If you are in NY just go and do it. You will probably regret not doing it but I can't see that you would wish you hadn't gone. Recommended.

Thanx so much for this post/review.

Being somewhat of a hermit, I don't do the public/club scene very much (If at all), but it's good to get a handle on what might be experienced if I get crazy and venture out of the house at some point.

I did actually get up to the NY Metro area last week, but the ice/sleet and business precluded my getting out on a social basis.

I truly hope to someday catch one of the NY events. I so miss the good times. :?

No blame on you Shemalenails. You have to know whether you can cope with or not.

To Coroner:Going now to USA can be quite risky for an nonamerican. You could be arrested for some bizare reason. When youīre lucky they let you go after a few hours. When you are not lucky they send you back.
Heard of it many times in the media.Thats why a lot of people avoid going to the states.Even the american tourist department admits it.

It's alot of fun. Sunny and Allanah always are very kind and friendly and make everyone feel comfortable.I've been going to these parties for the last 3 years.I go at least once or twice a month and have a blast and I love being in the pictures with the girls because I have no problem with that.Everyone has their own reason or situation for being seen or not being seen with these girls. Me, I could care less what others think about it because I've already come to terms with it and know what I want in my life. So stop being hermits and come on out and socialize with the girls. It's a whole lot better than sitting at home and whacking off to porn wishing you can meet the girl of your dreams when you can actually meet a real flesh and blood girl and take it from there.Trust me. The girls don't bite.At least most of them don't.LOL.By the way...Portia is a wonderful person.I've been to other parties and clubs, but nothing compares to Allanah's and Sunny's parties.Hands down: the greatest TS/TG parties in the world or at least in the U.S.A.

That place sounds awesome! If I was still a single guy I would be there on my next trip to NY. A place where you can chat and get to actually socialize and meet the girls is a rare find. The more I think about it, I may have to go there anyway, but just to look!

I knew they arrested Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens  ) and I read also about some other cases but I donīt see any reason to be sent back. Who knows.

I do understand people who donīt want to be photographed at clubs like Vapor. Many members here live in NYC and Vapor is in NYC. Some of them are probably known and although in a big city, the world is small. But I would take the risk because Iīm somewhere overseas and Iīd be totally underground in NYC

But believe me, Elo. No one of my family members of friends knows that Iīm into T-girls. It would be a huge problem if they find out and Iīll definetely turn into an outsider. Maybe, this would be the perfect test to find out who my true friends are. The only person that would show understanding is my sister.

But hey, forget about it, Iīd have a party in Vapor

I totally agree with Shemalenails, VAPOR is a great party
either night, Tues. or Thursday.

I don't work for Allannah or Sunny, I'm not even an escort
so I have no vested interest in getting guys to go. I just
think that any guy into Tgirls will have a great time there.

Re: being randomly arrested in the U.S. - has this really
been happening? Ok, they arrested Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens)
but he was very public about supporting the fatwah against
Salman Rushdie and therefore has in effect made public death
threats against an individual. I don't know what other things
he might have said re: U.S. gov't, it's leaders and their policies.

This aside, VAPOR is a fun time, has been every time I've gone.

Not only Cat Stevens was arrested at the airport. And you donīt have to be a muslim to get arrested.People like you and me are arrested or send back.As i said it doesnīt has to a logical reason.
A few months ago came out that every traveler coming trough plain to the states are rated by a program. The ATS,Automatic Targeting System, analyzes differnt data like personal data, which hotel you have choosen, single or double bed, with wich credit card you paid your ticket, one way ticket or not etc.Finaly every traveler gets a pointscore which classifys him as a terrorist, criminal, dangerous or harmless.
Want to change your pointscore?Forgett it you donīt even get to know your pointscore, nobody tells yoou why you are classified as dangerous or something else. And you canīt call it into question by a court.
So when someone wants to fly to the states think twice.

Even when you are American you can have huge problems going on board. For example a woman wasnīt allowed to fly at all because she stood on a certain list wich contains potential dangerous people(i donīt remember the name of that list). The reason why she stood on that list was she participated on a peace demo.

I would hope that our illustrious government has come up with a more sophisticated way to pinpoin terrorists rather than seeing if youre staying at The Ritz or a Motel 6.....

This is quite frightening. Protection against terrorists my ass! I hope they calm down with that a wee bit, Iīd really like to make a to NYC. Itīs the only place in the states Iīd like to visit.
