Well, having just said what I did on the 'apocalypse' forum, I'm wanting to respond. Transsexuals were first presented to me in two ways: the older, non-passable ts that I'd occasionally see in public, and the glamorous beautiful porn stars in magazines and on the net. Looking back over the past few years of being on this forum, I've become sensitized to many of the issues surrounding transsexuals, and my attitude has matured. However, it would be less than honest of me to say that my desire to be in a relationship with one is some overriding need. It;s been said over and over that you women want to be seen as women, period. But then to say, "you guys want us so bad, why can't you just be brave about it," seems to me to want to have your cake and eat it too. If we knowingly pursue a transsexual, we're objectifying her, no? So, what I was saying in response to Arianna's remark (to be clear, the 'if the world ends' thread) is - look, I like women of all kinds. I'm not done with gg's. If I meet a transsexual and we hit it off, then I'll deal with that, and hopefully be in a great place to do so, with everything I've learned here. But I'm not actively going to just pursue a transsexual relationship. And a big part of that is that I never see any around - that I can tell anyway. Which is fine.

The point was referring to how differently you view a Transgender Person in respect to a GG, ie – do you see them as a Sex Object only , or perceive them as a prospect to be a LTR or Life Partner.

Let me say first of all that I have respect for tgs, as I have respect for all people. Personally, I do not know any t-girls and just about every one whom I have seen in real life is not passible or is easily detectable.

I think the reason why I personally see tgs as only a fantasy is that there is some suspension of disbelief, like at the movies. You know what is going on around you is not real, but you are fooled into making yourself believe that it is real. Many of the beautiful t-girls on these sites are very passible and incredibly sexy. However, at least for me, deep down inside I know that they are still guys, but that they do not look like it anymore; only their outside has changed, but they are still the same inside. (I know that this may fly directly in the face of exactly why many make the transition: to make the outside match the inside. This is just how I see it.)

An example, when looking at a picture of a t-girl, it can be very convincing that they are a gg with something extra downstairs; a person born with a special gift. They may have the hips, the soft skin, the bubble butt, etc. However, when I have seen them in movies, youtube, etc., it is easily identifiable as they walk and talk that they are not ggs, but guys with a different outward appearance.

I think--I may be blunt--that for many guys, me included, that it really has something to do with the penis. I find the cock, like all of the "private parts", very beautiful and erotic. However, I am not attracted to guys at all, and this is a "problem". Tgs allow a sort of bridge to happen, wherein one finds a male cock in the trappings of a beautiful "girl". Quite the fantasy. It is this synthesis that is wildly erotic, and yet in the end--for me--it stays only a fantasy because I know that it is only that: not real. This is also another reason why such men as myself completely lose interest in post-ops. The very thing that drew us in, that created the fantasy, was severed.

I hope that this might explain what keeps the tg experience for me at the fantasy level and not into reality.
