Lovely weather we've been having lately. I thought some of you might appreciate a photo of me in the wild (sorry they are blurry). So here it is, mile 8 on a 13 mile hike through the Opal Creek Wilderness area.

I'm a tree hugger.

Nice! I always wanted to do a forest photo shoot but we don't have that many wooded areas in Illinois unforunately. Plus, most of them are full of those damn deer hunters and I'd hate to get caught!

Where do you have to go to see forests like that? I was in the Seattle, WA area and I didn't see any mossy forests. Yes, I did see forests, but none with moss. I thought they were all along the pacific coast.

I have some fond memories of Puget Sound and Seattle...even that noisy fuckin ferry that my buddies and I had to ride from Bremerton over to Seattle...but then again I like rain almost as much as I like sunshine...
