Surprised no one has mentioned the whole genre of mtf girl bands in Japan.. friend of mine the other day was talking about it... jrock I believe its called.

actually I am not sure if that one counts if the performers aren't really trans... the genre is basically guys that pass as girls that perform as girls, but its not an genre I know much about.

There are many artists and bands in Thailand, Korea and Japan... and probably other palces too.

I personally think having a shemale rock band would be outstanding. I mean, do you guys remember when TATU came out with their first album - god those women had talent.

I'm so sure theres a grammy winning TS rock band just waiting to be formed. I really can't wait for that to happen. I do hope Lilienne Li plays / sings in the band (That way I can get to see more off her).

Have you ever heard a TS sing? Maybe if they lipsync like Milly Vanilli. I mean it is that bad and embarassing.

Well that was shy of ear shattering, but I do believe some ladies have a lovely voice. For instance Barbie Woods has a soft and sweet voice.

Not dis-ing any rock artist of today but Tommy Lee doesn't sing like any angel I know.

However there is a great band I think out of Russia or was it sweden well anyways I saw their video on you tube it consists of a beautiful blonde girl a red head and a brunette..all beautiful and with great singing voices. And no none are asian lol

Their used to be a 3 TS clubs I have gone to over the years that had real singers. The old Queen Mary in LA and in the early 90's the Copa in Ft lauderdale,Fl. and one in South Beach that I can't remember the name of.

All had female impersonators and TSs singing and they were all stellar!

Courtney Act was in the first series of Austrailian Idol. Got a short lived recording contract. she does shows and tours and was in a version of RENT in Perth last year.

She's Trans though rather than TS.

one of them is Dana Interational from Israel
never knew that Dana can sing in russian :wink:
