Karl Marx was merely a philospher and political economist with some pretty revolutionary ideas. His ideas were not so much adopted as twisted by the Soviets. He had nothing to do communism as we know and was already dead by the time of the October revolution and had been long gone before Vietnam or Mao's Cultural Revolution. He had nothing to do with any of these and blaming him for Stalin or, for example, shows what a cretin you are.

And if anything, with his death his ideas grew. Your comments show that you are a spiteful ignoramous.

This is not a eulogy nor an apology for Marx. His ideas are deeply flawed as I can see, but it does not make him a "bitch fag". I do not support Marxism or communism becuase I believe they truly are unworkable. But they offer an ideal of how society can be. They paint a picture of a society where we all give what we can for our fellow men and take only what we need. This is not a bad thing.

Karl Marx may have turned out to be wrong, but in terms of both intelligence and his love of humankind, he was-in the figurative sense of the phrase- twice the man you will ever be. And so are most people on these forums.
