1) many past winners of Idol are far more talented than Brit
2)have to watch now since so many finalist come from where I live
(Fantasia,Chris Daughtry etc)

The only so-called Idol that went out and did well for themselves was that Kelly chick.

To me there's only one idol and yes that's Kelly Clarkson. But the girl who does country is huge too, I just don't get into country.Everbody who becomes a finalist is a star because there's something about being on tv that's makes people lose their minds... Clay (G)Aiken sells out concerts!!! That's crazy!! (BTW, he's also from the same state as Fantasia and Chris,but no one wants to claim him)

On a side note, the beautiful lady that sung last is the shows best vocalist. I think she's great and can't wait to hear more of her singing. I voted for her.

Quite ironic, your choice of sarcasm, since we do have alot of guys in lab coats and did recently receive a Nobel prize--- I believe it was for the science behind every mans favorite drug, viagra!
And we have more miles of paved roads than ANY other state in the country, not dirt roads like you all think!

Been to busy to watch unfortunately. I should get a Tivo or something so I can watch it at 1 am when I get home. Oh well, I'll probably pay more attention when they pare the field.
