It is extremely difficult to pick favorites, for the most part I am
fond of most people on the board, even those whose viewpoints
I may differ with markedly.

For me the forum is much like a large orchestra, with each
member contributing something. And it becomes like a huge
jam session ,and I am able to bounce ideas and grow viewpoints
from each person.

Here in alphabetical order are the people that drop the beats that
help me spit my lyrics:


AllanahStarrNYC : I greatly admire her business acumen,
her entrepreneurial flair. I am also a fan of her honesty
and knowledge of all things ‘trans’.

Arianna: She is very forthright, and will definitely let you know what
is on her mind. I perceive her to be a woman who is concerned
about the transcommunity and the Sisters.

BeardeOne – aka ‘The General’ . A very intelligent man, with a
great sense of humor. I feel that he is an ally of the community,
and for that I have a very high regard of him.

BrendaQG – I feel like she and I are like Salt n Pepa.

enough of a difference that we both grow from the exchange

Ecstatic: One of the brightest, most articulate individuals I have
ever encountered. His knowledge is encyclopedic, my ‘go to guy’.
Very even dispositioned, fair and impartial – he rocks.

Felicia Katt: A true wordsmith. A woman who plays the English
lanquage like a musical instrument. Very analytical, very discerning,
a great mind in a beautiful body.

Hara_Juku Tgirl: A muse. She asks questions that will cause you
to think, to participate and to grow. A very active and inquisitive
mind.

MystiqueEvolution: Now if Brenda and I are Salt n Pepa, then
Mystique is like Spinderella on the wheels of steel. Though
unlike Spinderella, Mystique has a ‘voice’, and a great many
thoughts and ideas, which I greatly encourage her to share more
often.

Seanchai: He’s definitely the producer, he’s about the ‘bidness’. Yet
I get a sense that he has great empathy, compassion and concern
for transwomen.

Vicki Ritcher: Vicki strikes me as the rocker of the group, she’s on
guitar. She is very much in the forefront, you know she is there, and
she aids in the rhythm of the group. She is also a lyricist and can
craft a sentence with the best of them. Bright, articulate, and also is
very concerned about the community.

This is by no means an all encompassing list of the folks that propel
and stimulate me, for as Yasmine Lee says "We all are family, and
have something to say".

Nice analogy, peggygee. Of course sometimes some people are out of tune, others forget the music or just play it wrong for the sake of it, but we all make a hell of a noise and I think that's something to be proud of.

I don't know if I've ever looked at the regular posters of this place in a "ratings" sort of way. Arianna - Direct, knows herself, you know exactly where you stand. No bullshit.

Allanah - Quite frankly an amazing manager(ess) of her situation. Never forgets people, which is important. I admire her for different reasons than what most do.

Farrah - When it comes to Farrah, she's not two faced, she doesn't play games. And to me, particularly in this hot/cold scene that we're all in, you couldn't ask for anything more. Life's much easier when you don't have to phycho analyse people.

Peggy - Intelligent, informed, sensible. She's like one of the tss that you would chat to ever few months over the phone, who's balanced and just plain normal. Just catching up for 30-minutes out of the blue.

Kriss - He's nice. Has sent me quite a few mails. Another normal one.

BeardedOne - Likes cats. Down to earth and genuine.

So... For the most part, I like normal plain people that aren't trying to prove something. That's not to say that if you're not on this list that you're not normal or are not respected. In my eyes you are all equal. It's just that the ones above have really stood out to me in terms of the qualities that I value.

But if you want a real class you have to visit sunny Southend (that's pronounced saaaafen') seafront, where else can you get a fish supper, a skinful of lager and a bottle in the face for under £20? alannah star: she has a very motherly, or voice of reason sense to her. all of her posts are very warm and informative
pegy gee: She is without a doubt the smartest person I have met when it comes to the topics discussed on these forums. not an insult to anyone else, just acknowledging her
hara juku: smart, sweet, naughty, and funny. what can I say other than I love this gal
jennifer english: she is one smart, naughty gal, and yet, i sense there is alot more to her than what we get to see on the board
seanchai: how could i make a list and not include seanchai?
stiles: possibly the most sweet, honest, down to earth guy on the planet. in addition to that, he has alotta the same interests as i do.
trish: naughty, funny gal
megabody: I always sit back and take the time to read his posts
vicki richter: she is the most brutally honest, headstrong gal i have ever met. (and i've had some damn stubborn, brutal ex's) she makes interesting posts, and always has something good to say. that and she's the devil, and the devil couldn't be any sexier
kelly shore: she has warmed on me over time, she can be the valley girl, but i find alotta of her posts of late either amusing, or thoughtful
tsntx: good attitude, great sense of humor
alison faraday: lovely lady from what i can tell. great down to earth gal
