Second hand smoke can be incredibly annoying, I give you that, but there is no scientific proof that it has endangered the health of somebody who works full shifts in a bar--let alone somebody who is merely exposed to the second hand smoke of a few cigarettes a night with their partner.

The "second hand smoke" specter is largely an idea placed in the minds of the public by companies that make such products as nicorette. The same way tobacco companies manipulated the evidence about the dangers of cigarettes, now companies trying to sell products to smokers trying to quit exagerate and manipulate the evidence regarding second-hand smoke.... This chit's been going on since P.T. Barnum.

From a public health and an environmental perspective the consumption of Red Meat is on par with smoking in terms of the damage it causes.

My point is not to point fingers, or argue about the merits of vegitarianism vs. non-smoking, its just to say we all make our own decisions on how we want to live our life, and what we enjoy. I'm well aware of the dangers of second hand smoke, which I find quite unpleasant, and I don't smoke around non-smokers. From a public health and an environmental perspective the consumption of Red Meat is on par with smoking in terms of the damage it causes.

My point is not to point fingers, or argue about the merits of vegitarianism vs. non-smoking, its just to say we all make our own decisions on how we want to live our life, and what we enjoy. I'm well aware of the dangers of second hand smoke, which I find quite unpleasant, and I don't smoke around non-smokers. Like I said, I'm an occasional smoker, and have actually been trying to quit for the last 2 years.

But if you really think my health is in so much danger I challenge you to come hiking with me sometime and see if you can keep up.

As for the photo being ruined.... well, its business dude. I try to appeal to as many markets as possible, and 99% of my photos have no smoking in them, so I'm not worried.

I don't mean my point to be offensive. I just do honestly care about my health and yours and others as well. I think the facts are SO in on how bad smoking is to us all. I would really hope you do quit for your health.
Just because you can hike and smoke does not mean you are healthy just as the red meat eater who works out then one days collapses in the gym from hardened arteries.

Look you and I are strangers and I know I can voice my opinions pretty strongly........but I am truly happy for you and hope you continue because I saw too many family members die of smoking related issues.

You are young, beautiful, in shape, and sexy...........no cigarette can add to that. Only take away. There is nothing quite like watchning some go through the motions of emphesema (sp?) from start to sad tragic finish, cancer as well.

If I had a GF or wife and after 5 or 10 years she started to smoke it would be a HUGE issue and probably end the relationship.

Never again , my ex wife who was "t" smoked & it bothered me a lot, the smell would get into everything, her hair, clothes, our carpet,our car, even our dog i think smelled like cig smoke. I work in da Haz-Mat industry & tried to explain to her all the sick ass chemicals they put in cigs but in the end she really couldnt stop. So now I don't care if ppl smoke I just choose to limit my exposure to those who do & that includes not dating anyone who does...no matter how pretty she is..& if she smokes that beauty wont last 4 much longer lol
