I thought Allanah's parties were full of techno-house music type people...suprised to find out they had Hip Hop on blast...I may just come through...How was the bar???

Just in case...are there any hotels within walking distance to this place...If I decide to come?

There are several bars in the club, 2 on the main floor, one large bar down stairs. There is also one in the lap dance room, but I don't recall if it was open last time. They only had maybe five or six kinds of beer there, nothing I really liked. They did have a variety of mixed drinks too. They had what I really liked, those Smirnoff twisted drinks.

The club has a site http://www.clubshelter.com/ if you go there and click on venue it does show a partial layout of the club. The main party is on 1, lap dances on 2, and it was a dance party on B.

I've stayed at this hotel, http://www.hotel5a.com/ but I may pass this time because it is expensive this time of year especially on a Friday night. It’s a short walk from the club.

Another close one would be http://www.bryantparkhotel.com/

I love hip hop. I think I will make a case for coming to another one of her parties in January or February.

Definately wouldn've have figured you as a Hip Hop type...good to know...this site is slowly gaining cool points by the minute...

may have to hold on my first party until jan or february...lol

Do people actually dance or is the party like a client/stripper thing?

I couldn't tell from the video because it looked like they were doing the stripper thing? Trying to get a feel for it, wether it's a party or like a strip club with transsexual women?

Not hating, just curious.

I'm not a beer guy...more of a mixed drinker...and smirinoff twist happen to be one of my fav's...that along with a few L.I. iced teas...lol

Those clubs seem a bit pricey...lol...it'll just be me...all I need is a beg, a clean shower and easy access to the club as I tend to get lost in NYC...lol

There was a lot of dancing on the dance floor on the basement level which wasn't crowded, so there was room to dance. On the first floor it was like a strip bar, with around 5-10 girls on stage. There were probably around 50 girls or more at any given time off the stage you can socialize with. The second floor was just for lap dances and you couldn't get in without a girl with you. The house also took $5 to get into that room.

A cheap close hotel would be http://www.theamericanainn.com/
I never stayed there and it doesn't really get great reviews.

.

is that $5.00 everytime you go, or $5.00 for a pass all nite?

They were collecting it each time you went into the room with a girl.

Does this club have available on site parking...I know the horror stories of parking in NYC...

no parking but i parked on the street a block away no problem at all. the signage for parking regulations was a little hard to understand but i was fine.

if you get a dance from one of the dancers you don't have to pay the cover for lap dances. i had one dancer and one non. next time i'll skip the dances and just grab a honey at the end of the night. although a dance can be a good indicator as to whom you might want to bring home later.

yup dancing downstairs. main floor was too crowded more like a strip club.

Are you from New York?

If I do go, i'll be staying in Jersey at some hotel more than likely (NYC is just my thing, call me country but I need more than a studio pad to stretch out in for a night...under $400, not including parking)

I'm not one for "dating" the girls so I won't be on the prowl much, I just want to go and check it out and see how they do things...

parking was easy because in that part of manhattan there are primarily business so the streets were pretty empty. so like i said i had no problem parking right on 39th St a block from the club.

glad i did picked up a cutie that needed a lift to Newark and was nicely rewarded :D

a night that started slow ended with a bang.

I may just get a hotel in Jersey and be done with it...I get kinda "iffy" about NYC parking since my last venture rewarded me a $125 double fine parking ticket...lol
