You’re still allowed to UPLOAD the photos or videos from these galleries to HungAngels, but linking to these galleries is not longer acceptable.

Too many galleries are being linked to and this is having a twofold effect:

1) HungAngels makes no money on any of these clicks and in some cases we’re actually losing sales
2) The outgoing traffic is attracting Spammers


Again you’re still allowed to UPLOAD photos or videos from these galleries that you’ve saved to your harddrive, but direct linking to these galleries is not acceptable and will be deleted. Repeated offenders will be banned.

From what I understand, Spedius that's not the problem. Hung Angels requires affiliate/referral sales to make enough money to keep this site running well .
HungAngels makes that from promoting sites like ours, the links to those sites from the bottom of the postings, banners, etc.
When you direct the traffic away from the site, you are giving that traffic that Hung Angels has created, away to another affiliate for free. So anybody potentially joining a website who started on this site - Hung Angels wouldn't get the credit for it.

The content originators (ie; website owners) don't care where the traffic comes from and the content that is on those free galleries is stuff they give to all their affiliates. So what NYCe is saying is, it's ok to cut and re-upload that content to a posting but not to post links.

This is a huge site - with a lot of content and chat, for free. As I suggested to Spedius and anyone else, if you want to create your own websites with galleries that you like, you can potentially make some money and have your own control over it. Otherwise respect this website and stay within it's rules and help it at least make the money back for the server and to afford NYCe his little pleasures.

Yes, that includes Rapidshare, Sendspace, Megaupload or any filesharing site if Whole DVD/Tapes are being shared. Sample movie clips are still okay.

I am curious: If I upload (preview) vids and pics from other sites, don't I violate any copyrights by that? Because I have many, but I am afraid if any of these sites seeing me posting their stuff here, it could get me into legal action...

No you don't violate copyrights by uploading pics/vids from other sites as long as they're not full sets, full videos and still retain the sites watermark or logo.
