looks like a rock club my kind of place, i may just stop in for a few drinks . I think its great to have other venues to explore in the city . hows the parking? and whats the crowd like , is it 10 to 1 ? if te weather stays nice i may just take the bike down to the city this weekend ...gonna see my brothers, so i may stop in for a drink......

Well so far It been ok no lies ...I have to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all guys that came to the party...I have my party for 2 weeks so far.My place got alots of guys say 30-60 guys but girls ...not many :( may be not many girl know me and yea there are 10-20 girls in and out.....So I won't give up yet ..I hope I can meet all top t-girls in the city and I hope they will come to my party one day :) I will trease you like my sisters :)

Hey Jasmin, I see you posted some of the pics I took the first night! Too cool. Guys and gals, it is a fun place, check it out. I'd be there every Saturday if it wasn't so far from Boston and so expensive to stay over in the Big Apple (just got an email from the Dylan Hotel--over near Club Shelter?--for their "special rate": room only, $349, ouch!!!). But I was talking with a friend today and we might go halfs on a hotel in the city one of these Saturdays, make it only moderately expensive, lol.

Oh, I know you can do better than that, but the best prices I've seen (for any hotel I'd want to sleep in, anyway) run $200+. Aside from driving downtown at midnight and back at 2 am, staying in Danbury, CT wasn't so bad: very nice hotel, only $96. Comfort Suites, I think it was.

Ecstatic : way better idea, hit the holland tunnel into NJ. The tunnel is just a few blocks from the roadhouse. There's a few small inn/hotels/motels just across the tunnel that starts at $149 i think.

Good point. I noticed that when I drove down the West Hwy a couple of weeks ago to the party. $149 still sounds steep to me, though, as I'm more used to paying $75-100 for a motel. Location, location, location, lol.

I agree , just go with the flow , i am thinkin of ridin my 06 HD custom chopper to the city partying all day and night and sleepin wherever i crash. if not i will sleep in my suv at a rest stop, its a 3 hr drive for me.

Bad news-- he location didn't work out, so there's no party this saturday nor for the near future. Allanah, you were right about hosting a party that far downtown. Jasmin gave it a great try, and I know she wants to find a better venue if she can. I'll let you know if and when she finds a new location! Thanks for all your support.

Yeah, it's a bummer. Jasmin is such a sweet lady, I wish the Roadhouse had worked out better for her.

I spent many years working in clubs when I was younger and December is the worst month of the year in the bar business. Many people are away or have other things to do getting ready for the holidays. So it's real hard to get a new place off the ground in December, As Allanah pointed out downtown is tough. If the place did catch on it was only two blocks from city hall, I thought eventually that would spell trouble

I wish Jasmin the best, am sorry I didn't make it. I hope she tries again. I'll be there next time
