Some poor guy named JP posted a picture of his desktop on another board and it showed a file folder called "shemale vids" on it (see the image below or click on the link and see the last row of icons on the post by JPsShytBox).

Because of this accident, this poor guy is being humiliated all over the net by his so called former friends. Follow this link to see the chain on messages following his slip up. It gets brutal as it goes on and on.

Man! That is funny! I hate to laugh but I never have seen that happen. Anyway, I'm more careful about those things and the time I posted a pic of my desktop, I blanked out all the names of all the icons regardless of their content. I have a folder with the word tranny on it but that's all.

Oh I dont feel ashamed. I have just had to learn to shrug off some peoples insistence that we are gay or that liking us makes one gay. To hell with them.

I guess in one sense sex with a TS is "homosexual" we do have male equipment afterall. But it still is not the same mentally. To me that mental part, gender identity, is more important than the physical fact. We have to accept that most people will not see it that way. Especially gay people.

I just went through the whole thread. I know it didn't die on pg 31...did it? Seriously though, I would never want to get outted that way. It seems like he had close friends on that forum. At the same time, I wouldn't have a file labeled like that on my desktop. I do have TG friends on MySpace, so maybe I'm waiting to be outted. I really don't care too much anymore. I only just got up, so I haven't read the linked posts yet (And, six hours after the link appeared here the MySpace page is already history), but I'm thinking about the wisdom (Or lack thereof) of posting one's desktop on a public forum. It's the virtual equivalent of inviting people right into your living room, so if you don't tidy up the porn ("Straighten up" as Kate Clinton put it, when she missed a copy of On Our Backs sitting right on the coffee table under her mother's eyeballs), expect to get some heat for it.

This is why I don't have a lot of guests and my desktop has innocuous folders on it that only I know the 'code' to. Don't leave your toys laying around, and it's less likely that someone will trip over them.

True, how you deal with said heat can make a big difference. If this guy played the denial route and acted in shame, then the baracudas could smell blood and knew they were onto something they could worry to death. The disappearance of the MySpace page shows that the feeding frenzy has worked its magic already.

Was this guy a primo player at Warcraft? Any decent strategist knows that a good scandal can shake your opponent from the throne in quick order. I wouldn't doubt that this plays into it to some extent in the root circle of 'friends'.

As for support groups for friends and admirers of Ts, certainly a good idea, but for now it only seems to take the form of these forums (Which is a bit scary, when you think about it, like having a support group for recovering alcoholics held at the local pub during happy hour).

Remember, it took a quarter century for many people to go from whispering "I hear he's very devoted to his mama" to boasting "Hey, guess what! Two gay guys just moved next door to me! Isn't that great? The neighborhood is getting so diverse!". And that still isn't anywhere near blanket acceptance.

I've previously been caught out many times in the past. Sometimes i did it on purpose just to have the upper hand if they were being completes assholes about my personal preferences.

In some circumstances, not all, the best way is just to meet it head on and give it right back with added spice.

There are worse things in the world than "Shemale Vids." If I were that kid I would assert myself and say something like "Damn right I like shemales! well, cant be too careful with that porn stash on your pc.

I normally put shemale pics/vids in the same folders on my HD as all the other GG pics. It makes them harder to detect, and you have to take a closer look to find those five or six chix with dix among 100 other pics in that particular folder.

As for getting "busted" - I'm the paranoid type anyway, I always make sure there's nothing on my desktop or in the task bar (especially when I post a screenshot somewhere) - not being familiar with the depths of my hard drive, you'd have to spend quite some time digging because everything is well hidden. So far, I never got myself busted. And if someone did spot nudie pics, they were regular "GG" images.

What is sad though is that shemale porn is a "no-no". That guy there could have had dozens of folders on his desktop reading "hot teens anal sex" or "young college twats", their only comment would have been like, "dude, can you mail me some of that?"

A good rule of thumb is to always triple-check before letting anyone else see what's on your computer, both online and offline. Mind you, there is nothing illegal on my HD, for that matter. Pictures of adult college girls are as legal as transsexual porn. But I just dont want anyone to know.

I never told anyone in real life that I'm into this kinda thing, because like I said, people are ok with you having terabytes of GG pussy on your HD, but heaven forbid one of them girls has (or even: once had) a dick.

I stopped caring about what people think is taboo. I hide all my porn (GGs and TGs), but if someone happened to find it on my computer then God bless 'em. I set the properties to "hidden" and put it deep inside "My Pictures."

well, like I said, I'm a paranoid mind, and I, for one, dont even have any aspirations as to ever being in the limelight.

I figured out how to hide my porn folders so that not even Windows or DOS know they're on my HD. There are software tools that will rewrite your file allocation table, meaning, the one place where information is stored about what's on your drive and where it is, sort of like a book's table of contents. So on top of having to dig through my folders, you have to know the password for that software.

pretty neat, huh?
