Why is that when I get 1 reply to a thread, I get 2 e-mails telling me so?

One time I had 12 e-mails for 6 replies.

Anyone else get this?

Check the profile link at the top of the board and then go to the preferences section. Should be about 3rd line down. You'll want to change that to "no."

I like to get notified when I check my e-mails, just why 2 messages for 1 thing?
