Yes, I tried it because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, I'm hairy down there now. It itches horribly and I got many ingrown hairs and razor burn and such. How do the porn stars avoid it? In regards to the "why not shave?" question, the reason is, who sees that area other than your lover? It's not like you can show it off to everyone.

I shave with no issue at all. To avoid razorburn, shave in a downward motion. Also, shaving dry doesnt seem to be an issue that much either. It hurts a tad, but not much to stop. Try aloe vera if you still get bumps. Try a trimmer with a guard aswell, if you dont wanna fully shave.
