QUESTION.....Why different names?

I've been browsing some of the TS porn site for months, and I've noticed some of the girls you will see on the sites also have "working" ads such as Eros. That of course is not really hard to understand, but what is, is the fact a girl will have 2 (occasionally 3 in some instances) different names.

Why? Why would a girl, who would most likely benefit from the added exposure of nude/porn shots, take on a completely different name. I'm no TS or porn star nor an "escort", but if I was and I had just taken some smokin hawt pics with my 15 inch wang hangin out, you better know I would want my name large and in BOLDFACE print for all to see on my escort ad. lol


So....Why?

well, i think many fo the girls change their names because a porn-past. victoria is now miriam and i think she´s not doing porn anymore. the same is with madison. i remember her name was topanga (correct me if i´m wrong)..... they want to go on with a "normal" life and that doesn´t work with a "cliché"

You know, thats a near viable explaination except that I'm refering to girls STILL escorting.

I certainly understand changing ones name when they are done with it all...But again, I talking about the girls still escorting that have recently done nude/porn pics with different names. That's what I don't understand.

Well, look ar Craigslist as an example. I've seen ads for girls here in the NYC area on Eros who also advertise on CL with a different name. IF you dig a little deeper and find reviews or even ask around, you're likely to find that there is at least one or two people who had less than a lousy time with her and have posted warnings on her not-so-stellar performance. The gurls change their name in hope that the new guy doesn't know who she is and takes the chance of her.

some of my favorite girls constantly change their names and it's not because they're hiding bad reviews. If you're a reliable regular customer and use their "real" name when you call to make an appointment, they're able to weed out the time wasters and wacko's.

a friend of mine uses a different name every week in her Village Voice ad. she's always "new in town" even though she's lived in the same Brooklyn appartment for 6 years. It's just good marketing.
