The Current State of TS Parties in NYC

I had not been to a TS Party in NYC for a while and decided to check out on on Saturday night. When I walked into the venue, which I thought I had not been to before, I realized that I had indeed been there many years ago. The setup reminded me of an evening with many pretty sexy TS women hanging out and being able to have a drink and chat and go for a lap dance in the back. The back room was so dark you could not see anything (at least that is my recollection) and loads of fun IMHO. Well the place is the same but the rules have changed. No lap dances, the TS women are there to try and secure a "date" or perhaps some just to socialize, although I spoke with none that fell into the latter category. Had several conversations and was disappointed to hear that the other TS party place had been reduced to only twice a week and rumored to be leaving the current location.

It was such a disappointment that this was the state of affairs... I guess change is always occurring, but frankly I'm not a fan of these changes...

Motherlode/Diva's in SF and the old Las Vegas Lounge were like that, C7 in Phoenix is kinda like that still. Mostly working gurls but also some nice TV/CDs out to socialize or hookup.

I loved to go en femme, sit at the bar and have good conversations that may or may not have led to a hookup.

The scene has changed it's moved to grindr and doublelist.
