The link is blocked for me in the UK. The only thing I would say is that the only progress I can think of in recent times is the fact that Donald Trump lost the Presidency in 2020. I might be wrong, but I can't think of any other man calling himself President of the US who so regularly insulted and abused the military and its veterans, even, as has been the case with John McCain and Colin Powell, when they are dead. There may be an exaggerated reverance for the Military in the US, but for a President to sneer at and demean the military of which he is 'Commander-in-Chief' does prove the man is unfit for public office.
