Fun fact -in 2015 I was in London around before Christmas and was in a Covent Garden cafe with a TS friend when Corden came in for lunch and sat behind me. I was tempted to ask him to pose for a photo with my friend who had no idea who he was, but he had his space and I didn't want to violate it. I don't actually loathe him, he is not at the level of the Piers Morgan or a creep you might not have heard of called Jonathan Ross, but I have a possibly irrational loathing of The History Boys that Corden was in, and Alan Bennett's late works. Corden is ambitious, fair play to him, but I am not sure what he does that nobody else can do. Showbiz is a tricky wicket most of the time, and I suspect that like John Oliver, if it wasn't for the accent he might not be where he is in the US today.
