Because contrary to popular belief, if you look above, you'll see that this sub-forum is titled GENERAL DISCUSSION.....

There's nothing wrong with trying to promote discussion, but you seem to be just posting random stuff you found on the internet with no rhyme or reason. Surely you must have noticed that there's very little discussion in response to your posts. If you want to encourage discussion how about putting more thought into what you are posting?

I also find it interesting that your random posts seem to be carefully avoiding any stories critical of the Trump administration's treatment of transsexuals.

Discontinuing working in porn bears no direct connection to detransitioning.

1) I never said it did.
2) You should read WHY she said she was quitting.

If you post something in a thread it normally implies that you think it's connected to the topic, as described in the title.

The issue mentioned by April is bipolar disorder, whereas the first article was about gender dysphoria, which is a totally different issue. Sure, they both involve mental health issues, but the link is pretty tenuous. It's a bit like posting something about diabetes in a discussion about cancer.

On completing sexual reassignment surgery. I believe it was HBO or Cinemax that had a series Real Taxicab Confessions where they would interview people in a taxi. One of the interviewees was pre-op and they asked her if she would complete her transition someday.

Her answer was no. She had seen too many of her friends commit suicide after completing the transition because they couldn't orgasm anymore. That and she liked her penis, thank you very much.

I personally have no knowledge on this matter, I'm just remembering what she said in the back of the taxi.
