Despite our views (us guys I mean) and whatever they might be we should not be so quick to criticise transsexual women on a whole for so many choosing to escort or be involved in the adult industry, but instead maybe try to understand there reasons for doing so. Its certainly just my opinion but I feel many TS girls choose this path for one simple reason they feel comfortable doing so. At least in these fields these girls know that the people that they are meeting and dealing with in there every day life have in someway dealt with the issue of what a transgender women is and accept and even appreciate them for there often difficult struggle to become who they are today. I can only imagine the difficulty for a transsexual women starting a new job in say an office for example, and coming across people who have never met or even thought about what a transgender women is. So often in all walks of life the fear of not understanding something or someone because it or they are different can be portrayed in a negative way and in many cases will result in ridicule, because this is the easiest way for some people to deal with something or someone that they are either threatened by or simply do not understand. It is not easy being different and although it should not be this way I am sure some of these girls feel like the odd one out in an environment such as this. To have to deal with people who do not except you for who you are is most likely an experience they have dealt with in there life’s many times before. To have to put up with this in there place of work or choice of career is probably too much for a lot of these girls to cope with and frankly why should they have too. It’s easy for us guys to too spout the same old things like why don’t these girls stop selling them self’s and get a proper job without looking deeper into the issues there girls face everyday, if these girls are happy in what they do we really have no right to judge there life decisions.
If there are any girls on this forum who them self’s escort and / or are involved in the adult industry who strongly disagree, then I apologise sincerely but I am at least trying to understand instead of just persecute.

I will never judge the escorts, lest they judge me.

While some say that I might only date escorts because I am old/fat/ugly/ethnic/whatever, I know my reasons and justify them in whatever lame-ass method suits me. Yet, in my situation anyway, I do my best not to see the gurl as a commodity rather than a person. I don't kid myself that she is not just doing a job, but I won't treat her like a piece of meat (As some GG relationships have treated me).

I'm no expert, but I have seen this topic discussed before, and I feel that the general reason the gurls get into the escorting business is because it takes a LOT of money for them to get through their transformation. The money required would take a person working a regular job years and years to save, while an escort/sex industry worker can make significantly more money in a much shorter time period.

Of course, not all TS go this route, but then again not every GG who needs money becomes a porn star or escort either. There is a part of you that has to be willing to go through the crap that is associated with being in that business, no matter your sex or gender. If the prize that awaits you is worth it, you'll suffer your lumps to achieve that goal. Maybe that is why a lot of these girls we have come to love leave the business--they start out young and cute, fresh and innocent. Then they do a few movies and we start to track their progress--the boobs get bigger, the body more feminine, the face, nails, etc all start to come into play. After a few years whern they finally feel their outsides match their insides and they no longer have to sell sex to make that necessary money, they slip away back into society and assume the role they feel they should have always had.

I for one have no problem with the concept of escorting/prostitution. I do have a problem when an escort decides to rip off her clients, but that is a topic for another thread, not this one.
