The old Escort reviews section was an invaluable resource, but because of this new US legislation it has disappeared.
I know someone had a go at getting something similar going for the UK, and I know a couple of sites are TS friendly and have tried, but there is nothing with the quality and quantitiy that we had here.
Is there no way somebody can do something? E.g. transfer the database to a UK-based hosting service and get something going again?

Why don't you buy some server space, build a blog/wordpress style site and run it yourself?

I might, although I'm possibly not computer savvy enough to do a good job of it.
Key to its success would be the reviews that so many people spent so much time on posting here.
Would the owners here be prepared to releae the database of reviews?
