I’m looking for recommendations for a decent site for meeting girls. I’ve tried tsmingle and transdating and was underwhelmed! Most of the UK based girls on Grindr are escorts and the mainstream sites, let’s not even go there!

Yeah I have tried this route, it's not worth your time. It's an absolute mess unless you like being scammed and banging your head against brick walls. There are ZERO apps or web sites that you can trust or that work.

On the contrary, there's certainly a large number of genuine girls on mytransgenderdate.com - from all over the world.

I will agree to a point on that one being the best of a bad bunch however it is still very much a site that caters to setting up western men with Philippian trans women, if that is what you are looking for you are set but it's not one to expect to make a local connection assuming you are anywhere in the world other than the Philippines.

Maybe your experience was different to mine? Maybe you got lucky? Maybe not all those 100 plus girls are real? My own experience there was that I received a lot of response to my profile but 99.9% of them were from girls in the Philippines, girls I would piss off pretty quickly because I didn't pay for their service therefore wasn't able to communicate back. If you go on that site make sure you are serious and willing to pay. Petite Asian girls is actually my thing but I'm not ready to date over those long distances just yet.

But if I were forced to recommend a site/app it would be that one however if your goal is to meet local trans women who are serious about forming a relationship then the options out there in terms of apps are woefully limited and be prepared to be scammed or manipulated.
